Description: PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.

Very good,if expensive. Historic saffron risotto. We enjoyed the change from the inevitable tagine . Excellent service. Romantic surroundings. Loved it.

We Visited Pepe Nero during a four night visit to Marrakech last week. I booked by email on advance of arriving due to positive comments on trip advisor. I was disappointed to be honest. The service was slow and lacking in character, and although the food was in no way bad - I wouldn't rate it anymore than ok and... More

We felt this was our best meal (served with alcohol) in Marrakech. The service, surroundings and atmosphere was fabulous. Our food was delicious, and the drink cheaper than other similar restaurants. The riad was beautifully designed - give it a try!

Excellent food in a very nice setting. Slightly incongruous mix of Italian and Moroccan with a separate menu for each, although you can mix and match between the two. It was very warm in the covered seating area. About £125 for four with a couple of bottles of wine which represented good value for the quality of food. Booking essential... More

The food is excellent, the best steak I have ever eaten, the staff are very attentive and is a lovely setting, a few day pre booking recommended.

Really friendly waiter with a good sense of humour about my mum and I being vegetarian! Food was good, setting really pretty in the inner courtyard. Quite fun trying to find it through the little alleyways in marrakesh.

This Riad/Restaurant boasts a lovely covered atrium with a pool and fountain. Hilariously, I saw a British gent trip and step in the fountain. He brushed this off good-naturedly and went about his business...the restaurantisn't very hard to find, as there are many signs, though down a few of the high-walled alleys you might doubt where you are going.... Booked for 60th birthday celebration. Just happened to mention this to restaurant when booking a table and they went out of their way to look after us. Wonderful surroundings in the courtyard. Beautifully presented food with fantastic service. If you can go,go! It was one of the highlights of our trip. If you can arrange for the restaurant to pick... More

The place is stunning and food very nice. Good selection of wine. Service was a little too much though, dont like when people come check on you every 5 minutes and fill your glasses so often that you have to order more...

We had a brilliant meal at this amazing restaurant. The evening didn't start off too well as it was raining when the taxi arrived. It seemed to take ages to get to the venue too. We were bowled over when when we were taken to our table in the courtyard which was beautiful. We had a lovely meal and a... More
