Description: PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.

I love Moroccan food in Australia, yet strangely found the food in Morocco, somewhat over-priced and continually sinuey-boney meat. Pepe Nero was a fantastic find; some of the best & freshest pasta I've ever tried and the Moroccan menu was fantastic. The prices are higher but it's good value. A gorgeous setting, thoroughly enjoyed.

We all enjoyed the food at this lovely restaurant. We found it quite easily by following the signs from the medina but if you email them they will give you directions to give to the taxi driver or explain how to get there on foot. We really didn't expect it to find such a quaint and peaceful location when we... More

We visited Pepe Nero twice on our recent visit to Marrakech. Its a lovely place to relax & eat. The service is good & the waiters are charming. The food is good as well & nicely presented. It does get busy & i would advise booking especially if you would like to eat outside.

The place is stunningly beautiful on the inside, though when you walk up to the front door it looks like you ended up on the wrong side of town, they have a very tiny sign. There were roses in the fountains and the service was superb. The food was tasty, though not the best I've had in Marrakech but I'd... More

We were a bit tired of tagines, so we went with the Italian menu. The food was lovely and the alcohol reasonably priced for a change, the whole meal was served at a nice and relaxed pace and the service was very good. Lovely setting in the upper floor surrounding the plunge pool. I'd definitely eat here again and recommend... More

We loved this place. The space is amazing. The service was excellent. The food, delicious. The completeness of the experience and their attention to detail can be summed up with this: even the receipt was more beautiful than what you get at a top hotel.

A great alternative to tagines, if you lose the taste for them after a few nights. It's an expensive restaurant in terms of Morocco, but really very reasonable considering the excellent dishes and the beautiful surrounds - two starters, two mains, a bottle of wine, a shared dessert and two big bottles of mineral water came to £32 each. Well... More

Lovely setting, great food and a nice atmosphere. Probably the best meal we had in Marrakech. Would visit again.
