Description: PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.

Great atmosphere and lovely setting down the end of a narrow, winding Derb. Dinner by the pool with great, friendly service. Food fantastic and if you choose the Raspberry Sorbet for dessert, then lucky you!!! It comes with chewy raspberry meringues, raspberry sorbet and an intense raspberry coulis. One of the best desserts I've had anywhere!! Best restaurant in Marrakech.

Another restaurant down alleys looking like they lead nowhere, but what a lovely surprise when you go through the door! Stunning setting, and fortunately we had booked the outdoor courtyard by the "pool" Food was delicious, they have both Moroccan and Italian menus, my wife went native and I had the Italian, which included a very tasty Lasagna. Very atmospheric,... More

Have the lamb shoulder. It was incredible, and book ahead it gets busy and all the nice tables in the court yard get reserved. Follow the signs from the square, pretty straight forward.

We booked an evening table on our last night in Marrakech; the restaurant is somewhat near/north of the square, but we had a guide from our Riad on the trip in and a guide from the restaurant on the trip back which saved a lot of grief. The restaurant has a reasonably nice atmosphere, but not really special; an Italian... More

Last evening here and we decided to follow recommendations. Glad we did! Booked at 6ish and had to take a time to suit them as it was so busy. Suited us anyway! I'd still recommend booking as it was full on a Thursday night. We both had a beautiful lamb dish each. We shared a bottle of red wine and... More

I thought this would be a quiet romantic setting, but it actually quite a large restaurant divided into different areas. Each is over-powered with Italian music which is blaring out the the various speakers. I am only 38 years old, but found this to be so unpleasant that we decided to leave. I feel very sorry for the local residents... More
