PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We had a lovely meal here. Delicious wine and great service. Very beautiful building, tucked away down a tiny street off the Medina

Not the easiest place to find, off one of the many souk alleyways but well sign-posted, though a little isolated - hassling is much less now so should be safe. Restaurant is predominantly in a courtyard and on hot nights make sure you are near the fans! Looks amazing in a Riad-type setting and provides very high quality Italian alternatives... More

We visited pepe nero after seeing it on trip advisor. We got a taxi there and it was a bit of a maze getting there, I doubt we would have found it alone! We pulled up in a dusty square outside and wondered what we were going in to but we followed the waitor down a winding alley and ended... More

We just simply followed the signs to this restaurant (which was recommended in my Lonely Planet guide book). Although a bit difficult to find, it was worth it! Very traditional Moroccan architecture and design, with water features, mosaics, courtyard etc....I think you can imagine the rest! We had a selection of Moroccan salads which were lovely, slow roasted lamb that... More

I took my husband and assistant manager Sàid from our Riad to Pepe Nero on Sàid's recommendation. I love my food but cannot bear to be overwhelmed by large potions. The food at Pepe Nero is amazing, the staff attentive and the surroundings breathtaking. I would recommend eating here if you can find it through the winding magical streets of... More

We ate at Pepe Nero on our first night in Marrakech and would definitely return. Good food, decent wine list and reasonably priced.

For anyone looking for Marrakesh's most romantic and atmospheric restaurant, Pepe Nero wins hands down. We dined in the courtyard with candlelight and roses, enjoying delicious lamb and creme brûlée. The waiters are so graceful and kind and we were lucky to have Saïd look after us, who made our evening delightful. This medieval palace, once the home of a... More
