Description: PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.

Booked the restaurant for NYE due to good reviews and from then on it was only disappointment - honestly our worst meal experience in Marrakech. We fell for a tourist trap that is using positive reviews to earn as much money as possible. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this place at all costs. the good: Plenty of food,... More

The setting in this restaurant is very relaxing, and the building/ décor are beautiful. That makes it a bit special. The meal we had was very good, but not better than the others we ate. We found the standard at Restaurants we used consistently high. This one is perhaps a little bit more expensive, but the do serve wine and... More

The food, the service and the surroundings, absolutely first class. We weren't expecting something so nice in the Medina. They have a choice of Italian or Moroccan Menu. We had the Moroccan Menu and it was all amazing. This Restaurant is a renovated Riad and also has accomodation. Very highly recommended.

If you are looking for great Moroccan food, excellent service (the waiters were very attentive, cheerful and polite), and a beautiful setting, then be sure to visit this Italian/Moroccan restaurant (yes, they have both a Moroccan and an Italian menu). Me and my girlfriend shared a selection of Moroccan salads, followed by a lamb shoulder (perfectly tender and juicy) and... More

So this place was recommended by the owners of the Riad we stayed at. I am SO glad we followed her advice. It was not the easiest place to find, so plan your route on the map, it's on a small road and a dead end - 10 minutes walk from Jema El Fna. The minute you walk through the... More

Very nice restaurant with a great variety of italian and Maroccan dishes. I went with my family and we all had a variety of dishes which we all liked. I had the pigeon pastilla which was to die for. It is a great starter for sharing although a bit too sweet. Pasta and lasagne were very nice. The decor and... More

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday meal after reading all the positive reviews, and we were both really pleased with the experience. I had booked ahead via email and received a prompt response confirming reservation as well as clear directions via taxi or by foot. We had no problems finding the restaurant from the main square from Cafe... More

We didn't actually eat here. The menu looked interesting, if somewhat expensive and the surroundings are very plush. However we arrived at 8.15 pm without a booking and told that they were fully booked despite only one or two tables being occupied. Got the distinct impression they just did not like the look of us.

I can't imagine why anyone would leave a poor review of this restaurant - just know what to expect: It is more expensive than the rest of Marrakech, but there will be no fuss about choosing a restaurant and you will have a very nice meal with good wine. There were mainly tourists, as this restaurant is recommended by many... More
