We had lunch at this fantastic restaurant in anticipation of using the chef as our caterer for our wedding. The atmosphere at the restaurant was fantastic and the place was packed with a very upmarket crowd of locals and French expats. We used Durant Traiteur for our wedding at Ksar Char Bagh, which was a massive success. The chef of... More

This is a bar restaurant set in an industrial area. Decor themed on cigars and Cuba sets the scene. Food is amazing service not quite to match food quality but ok. A bit of a drive to get here but we came from pre dinner drinks at La Mamounia. We were a group of 14 that had made a booking... More

After a 20 min drive to the industrial area of the city we found this hidden treasure. We were greated bij the owner and although we were the only non-french speakers we never felt out of place. I was completly blown away bij my oeuf a la cocotte, and the fig tarte tatin was perfect! Although we came in at... More

Le Zinc, also known locally as "Le Bistro des Copains" was a brave bet by Damien Durand, its owner. A French chef trained by the best, he decided to set up in the middle of the MARRAKECH Industrial Zone known as Sidi Ghanem. Not an obvious choice! Well, he's won his bet. The French food is always delicious and impeccable.... More

If you want to eat really really well in Marrakech then you have to go to Le Zinc. Situated a little way out of the centre of town in the industrial zone of Sidi Ghanem, it is well worth the trip and there are some great shops in the neighbourhood. The menu is small with daily changes but the food... More

If you like Oualidia oysters, succulent pork chops (a rare find in Morocco) and traditional French fare with a Moroccon twist, then head for lunch in Le Zinc. It's situated a bit outside town in an industrial area, but certainly worth the drive there.

by far the best place to eat in Marrakech is Le Zinc. I would say that it runs a very close first with Al Fassia although dont expect any Moroccan fare here. its french through and through. i would go as far as to say that its the best French food i have had in about 10 years. so many... More

About a 1&1/2 years ago, a friend of mine said, "have you been to Zinc in Sidi Ghanem, you must go there the food is excellent and its really Packed". My first reaction was "what is a good restaurant doing in the industrial zone of Marrakech"? Curiosity killed the cat but the minute I walked into Zinc I totally got... More

Really is a bistro in the french tradition.Often there are pork based dishes which is a change in RAK,like paquet de pieds and cotelet de porc Staff very friendly and prices reasonable often very full at lunchtime with french expats Sidi Ghanem if you don't know it is a great wholesale district with some edgy decorating shops and art galleries... This was my third visit. Each time I have arrived at 12 and been able to sit promptly outside as desired. If you arrive much later you will have a wait, it fills quickly. Menu changes daily and is written on board. You have the choice of 3-4 starters, main courses and desserts. Each time the food has been fresh... More
