Nice food and great variety

Nice relaxing and casual restaurant where you can get something other than a tagine. We had the New York steak and Ravioli. Servings could have been larger but food was nice and tasty.

Dear Steven Thank you for your contribution and we are pleased that you enjoyed your moment with us at Amaia. Hope to see you again during another trip in Marrakesh. Next, ask for more side dish, at Amaia, we are more "gourmet" than "gourmand" but we also like big appetites! Kind regards. Eric Garozzo More

As we were deciding on a place for dinner in Marrakech, we checked TripAdvisor and found Amaia. We thoroughly enjoyed not only our meal but the atmosphere of Amaia. It doesn't have the traditional Moroccan feel but that's what I feel draws people in. Sometimes you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a... More

When you need a little break from the hustle of Marrakech, try this restaurant, in the new part of Marrakech. It's well run, with a wide selection of dining options, and a personable owner.

We went to Marrakesh after a week in Agadir. We went to Amaia recommended by our riad and because of the great reviews on trip advisor. Amazing and creative food, beautiful surroundings, and impeccable service! All that for a very reasonable price. By far the best...! All-in-all an excellent experience which I would highly recommend for couples.

After a day in the Atlas Mountains we just wanted a nice, easy place for a family dinner, Amaia delivered on this. Simple food, good service - and they have wine and beer. Not the most adventurous place we have eaten today, but that is not what we came here for.

Went there with my boyfriend one morning just after going shopping, we were starving and got a really nice brunch which included pancakes, eggs and fresh pressed orange juice! We came back the day later and tried the homemade pasta which were also really good and filling.I would definitely recommand this restaurant if you're looking for a nice meal, especially... More

Dear Melissa Thank you for your such nice post about Amaia. We are pleased that you enjoyed our cuisine. We make all our raviolis & tagliatelle and our tomato sauce too. They all come from old Italian or Sicilian recipes, with special "secrets"... Hope to see you again during a next "Marrakesh tour". Say "hi" to John for me. Kind... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat on a sat night, found this restaurant. The food was a little disappointing, bland. We were not impressed.

Dear M. Bob I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your meal at Amaia, maybe you took the wrong dish! How a wok of prawns & calamari with red curry paste & coconut milk can be bland? How a beef Tagine with apricots and all its spices cannot be tasty? And what about an iced-cold nougat with real saffron? Our menu is... More

Visiting a friend, a teacher at the American school, she recommends me Amaia as “little of Home in Marrakesh”. Absolutely! Went there more than 4 times. Modern, so clean! Like in NYC, London or Paris. Nonstop service, Bacon & eggs, pancakes for brunches, sandwiches, bio vegetables, fabulous Mojitos and a great chardonnay! They mix French, Italian & Asian food. Yummy.... More

We were quite fortunate to stumble on this restaurant; a small unpresupposing place on a busy artery leading into the centre of Marrakech. The soupe de poissons was the best of the starters and the tagine of boeuf excelled as a main. Nice friendly staff, functional surroundings and good value. Maybe not a venue for a special meal but a... More

We ate in a few restaurants in Marrakesh. This was one of the best I have ever been to. The food was excellent. Other chefs would charge far more I am sure. I had a starter and a tapas to begin with these where fantastic. The main was good (can not remember what it was maybe to full). The restaurant... More
