When you travel alone, you often tend to get the table in the dark corner - at least in a small and popular restaurant as this. Not so in this case. Attentive and personal service from the very start. Very good food too and c wine prices.

Enjoyed every bit of the meal. Looking back very positively. Recommended, French cuisine with an oriental touch. Modern and practical interior and decorations.

We had our best dining experience at Amaia. Good menu with added specials. We had steak as our main coarse and it was perfect. If Im ever in Marrakech again, i will for sure visit this restaurant again.

I've had poor experiences in Morocco with dreadful food, so researched this restaurant carefully. I can only say my time wasn't wasted, as this is a gem. Delightful welcome from the French owner, followed by a wonderful dinner. I can't wait to return!

Using TripAdvisor to make a choice of where to eat, my group of friends and I decided to dine here. From when the owner opened the door for us to enter to when he opened the door when we left, we were astonished with the quality of the food and service. Best quality meal I've ever had. I had the... We chose the restaurant at virtually the last minute, based on Tripadvisor ratings/feedback. Our hotel in Marrakech had never heard of it and subely tried to influence us, however we stuck to our guns and I'm delighted we did. It probably only holds less than 40 covers, so, very personal and intimate, everything from the toilet to the lights has... More

We ate a lovely lunch here. The lady hostess spoke excellent English and was very friendly and helpful. We were a bit of a pain moving tables twice because of the noise outside initially and then because of others diners smoking (they are totally non smoking during the evening service but during the day there is a no smoking area).... The food, the service, everything was brilliant. Once Inside the restaurant you would never imagine the hustle & bustle outside. It was peaceful. Great choice of food & alcohol. Service was excellent & I have to mention it had the best Viennese coffee I've ever had! Would completely recommend this restaurant.

Being a Muslim, getting good halal steak in the UK is not that easy. Getting a fillet cut of steak not very likely at all (at least not where I live). Went twice to this place on our week's trip. The staff were great and the fillet beef steak at this place is the best beef I have ever had.... More
