We visited this restaurant two times during our 6-day stay and were very satisfied. A well balanced menu for every taste. My wife is a vegetarian and the second time we vistied them they mades a special meal for her which was not on the menu. The owner and the staff are very friendly. Excellent!

We were looking for something as a change from tagines, brochettes and salads so checked out trip advisor. The Amaia restaurant looked right so we jumped in a cab. When we got there at 8pm on a Tuesday night we were the only customers but we were soon chatting with the restauraunteur. We started with goats cheese and vegetables in... More

After reading the reviews on here we were excited to try out this place. The restaurant was fairly empty but had quite a good vibe and the waiter was very friendly. The starters were very promising and reasonably priced too. For the main course we both chose the beef Tagine. We had been used to having very flavorsome dishes in... More

We went on the basis of other Trip Advisor reviews. Small resturant with a short but varied international styled menu. Very clean and refreshingly in Marrakech seemed to be None Smoking. Diner's wishing to smoke went outside to the small terrace at the front so beware if you decide to have an outdoor table. The evening we went they seemed... More

This restaurant is well worth a visit. The menu was not extensive, but the quality of the food was so good, that we ate dinner here twice in five days. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is on a busy road, but even on the outside front terrace, the bamboo screening made it feel secluded.

We came here with high expectations. However the maincourse beef tagine was very dry and bland, not at all what I was expecting. The tapas menu was delicious but portions were very small for the prices and the winelist and main menu and was very small and not all that interesting if you want food that isn't burgers. The desserts... More

And would echo all the good reviews from other Tripadvisor writers. Small, friendly environment and the food, whilst preserving some of the local flavour, was also fresh and cosmopolitan enough not to be out of place in Paris or Florence. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable service - dollar for dollar, our best meal in MK.

Followed Tripadvisor recommendation. Starters were amazing but we thought main dishes were only average. Nice desert but simple. Good service & nice atmosphere overall

Another reward for following tripadvisor reviews! Amaia is a small restaurant in a modern style situated in the new town area of Marrakech. We had to traverse road works to enter after our taxi dropped us off but once inside the journey out there proved very worthwhile. The menu was French influenced but with Moroccan choices as well. We chose... More
