We visited the restaurant on a Monday evening around 8.30 pm. We were the first table and after 20 minutes another family arrived. With only two tables considered a quit night. The menu was attractive as well as the daily specials. Prices for main courses vary from 100DH to 180. The special of beef fillet with foie gras was 190.... More

Nice change if you got tired of inevitable moroccan tagines. Very pleasant atmosphere, prompt service, good choice of local wines. Food is tasty and generally on the level with any respectable european restaurant, which provides you a pleasant escape from surroundings, and after a while in Morocco it can be quite nice

Excellent value again and a nice change from Morrocan food. A good varied menu with reasonably priced alcohol and a nice atmosphere. Friendly, unintrusive service and an all round winner. Once you've had one tagine, you've had them all. Switch to restaurants like this and enjoy the glorious food marrakech can offer. 2 starters, 2 mains, wine and water was... More

The steak was highly reviewed on TA so I ordered it. It was a good size portion but was only warm when it came out. Based on other reviews I expected amazing but it was only ok. Service was very good, other than not asking me how my food was. Atmosphere was nice. Definitely don't think this restaurent belongs in... More

Dear Sir Sorry that your New York steak did not pleased. You ordered it “medium”, so warm inside. It was served immediately after preparation,( you were the only customer at 4.00 pm!). As you enjoy the wifi connection, you delayed to start eating ... Kind regards E. Garozzo More

We'd been to Amaia back in 2012 and had to rely on TripAdvisor to look it up again in 2014 - this place should be number one in Marrakech, it's that good. In fact, it's so good we went twice. First and foremost, the food is superb - whatever you have. Succulent steaks, great salads, brilliant burgers and tasty tagines.... More

Amaya was reccomended to us and sounded like it was worth a try. We traveled extensively in Morocco and by the time we got to Marrakech we wanted different kinds of cuisine. (Had a few too many tajines). Amaya was a nice change of pace. The restaurant is tiny but comfortable. The menu has a nice varried selection of dishes.... More

The extremely polite owner himself came out to give us assurances on how the food was prepared. This gave us a lot of comfort. It is quite a small establishment, and there is a small outside seating area. Whilst the price was a little high and the portions quite small, the food - especially the lamb was tender and tasted... Eating in Amaia means: lovely atmosphere, great food, alcohol (!) and friendly staff! Especially the chicken curry and also duck breast are superb! As a dessert we had the wildest chocolate noir with Illy coffee and Grandmarnier... Great to have found a spot like Amaia, really close to the train station and the bigger hotel chains of Marakech.
