Good food - Usual tourist exploitation

We had a good dinner and the service was good. It is often in Morocco that restaurants exploit tourists on prices, and unfortunately they are not different such as charging 30 Dirhams for a small bottle of water.

Being a company of 10 we did not expect to get a table in this place but the owner moved some tables around and voilá. Service was very attentive even if we had some small language problems but that is part of the charm of traveling. The food was very good, many people had steaks which they liked but I... More

following 2 disappointing diner at our hotel, we were please to have decent food. We shared fried calamares for starter (average) and then Oslo bucco for me (beautiful) and pasta carbonara for my other half (fantastic). The service was a bit slow and disorganized but overall, lovely diner. We will come back.

Whilst on a short stay in Marakesh we wanted to sit down to a traditional mediteranean meal with alcohol. We stumbled across this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The ambience was superb. The menu was inclusive and the staff so charming and welcoming. The food was superb and we enjoyed a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Not sure the main photo is right ... The interior is crisp modern and smart. Lots of French in there which is a good sign. We went twice because we liked the slightly smarter the average atmosphere and they do very decent cocktails. First night we had pizza which was fine... I don't get too excited about pizza .. Second... More

After a singing recommendation from our riad’s house staff, we decided to visit Le Chat Qui Rit. At first, we were impressed by the sympathetic Italian decor and the friendly front of house staff. Then our first course arrived- my brother couldn't find anything on the menu that he was interested in; his girlfriend and my boyfriend both had the... More

This place was round the corner from our hotel and was recommended in Lonely Planet. We tried it and what a treat. The seafood risotto was gorgeous. Rice al dente. Children had pizza and calzone which they ate with gusto. Other half had bolognese. Wine was beautiful. All four with wine and pudding approx £60. A little oasis.
