This restaurant is in the Sofitel. We ate here on our last night in Marrakesh. There was a brilliant live band playing Spanish music. The restaurant is in an amazing setting with a beautiful roof terrace. The food was a choice of European food cooked by one chef or local Moroccan food by a different chef. I opted for European... We stayed here one night and dined in the restaurant. From the beginning to the end it was perfect. I planned to propose to my girlfriend on the night of the 1st of March 2013 and had asked for a certain dessert and song to be played. The whole evening planned out as I had asked for you and she... The food and service in L`Orangerie were fabulous, pumpkin soup and sea bass were beautifully presented and tasted terrific.

Not a great selection for a 5 star hotel, although the staff are very attentive and the food is tasty.

The L'Orangerie restaurant - and Le Lawrence Bar - are part of the Sofitel Spa and Lounge hotel outside of the city centre. We were staying in the hotel and on the first night arrived late with a young baby so didn't want to venture into the city centre but didn't want to be confined to room service. This was... More

Great food spoiled by poor service. In fact the service was so poor that we didn't leave a tip and the contrast with the service we received in the rest of the hotel was marked.

The L'Orangerie restaurant - and Le Lawrence Bar - are part of the Sofitel complex in the Hivernage district just outside the Medina. Arrived at 7.30pm, which is when it is supposed to open, but they were delayed getting started. Luckily, we could take a seat in the Le Lawrence Bar just outside and relax while we waited. Staff are... More

Unfortunately they didn't have my first selection of main corses but the lamb ragtime was nice. Staff were reasonably attentive but not great, atmosphere was lacking a bit, overall ok but nothing special
