We had a lovely meal and a lovely evening

Our meal was delightful and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed the live entertainment that included a Moroccan edition of Old Susanna for our particular pleasure!

Our group had our going home dinner at the Red House. The food, service and decor were all beyond reproach. There was live music and a short floor show. We had a great time in a beautiful setting.

WOW. This place is gorgeous and it was by far our best meal in Morocco. The service is superlative and the whole evening there was a great experience - I honestly think it was the best lamb tagine I have ever tasted in my life. Go here! It is wonderful!

I visited the restaurant a few times while on holiday and could not rate this restaurant higher. Wonderful ambience, authentic Morrocan food. Such flavoursome dishes! I had the same dish twice, it was that good! All waiting staff were very attentive and could not do enough for the guests. I have a particular mention for a lovely gentlemen who served... More

The setting of this restaurant and inn is near the medina, but a world away in terms of peacefulness. It is a grand building with beautiful architectural details. During dinner there is soft music provided by a traditional musician and then later in the evening a belly dancer performs and tries to engage the men in the restaurant. The food... More

Met with friends here on recommendation. As reported elsewhere, beautiful room, heavily tiled but lacking in any real atmosphere despite live music and a belly dancer. We hadn't realised that the menu was a fixed 400 Dhs affair which wasn't really what we wanted but it was too late to find somewhere else so we stayed with it. Wine was... More

The combination of architecture, quality of food and service is really excellent. A great menu and wine list were complemented by the service from all the staff. The building used to be the French Ambassadors Palace and it looks like it. Even the belly dancer was young, slim and beautiful and wasn't pushy.

This was our first night in Marrakech and had been recommended to visit for a meal. The surroundings are impressive with lots of tiled walls. The menu limited but I has a lamb tagine which was very good. The rest of the party had fish and this was not up to their expectations but a fish that they were not... More

Ate here first night of trip to Marrakech. There is only a set menu available - either Moroccan or international (though you can mix and match). Although very interesting to look at the restaurant had no atmosphere the night we were there (a Friday!). Service was attentive but slow. There was intrusive background music from a traditional Moroccan musician and... More

This restaurant is the sort of place that one is entertained in when travelling for business as part of an international company group - the place is beautiful, the service is good, the food is fine but the overall experience is not relaxing or fun - despite the musician playing music and the belly dancer it doesn't feel authentic or...
