This is the second Al Fassia restaurant in Marrakech after many years of success with the first restaurant. As usual, first, a "woman only service" which is so effective and refined. Food is good with many couscous types (really liked the sweet version with caramelised onions and raisins) but the main attraction is the "épaule d' agneau" for two which... More

By Moroccan and even London standards this place isn't cheap. Problem is the food and service simply don't justify it, although the dining room is suitably grand and a comfortable setting for dinner. Food very tasty but miserly in quantity I thought. Roast lamb very good but sides of veg and couscous bland and insufficient. Sorry!

Food was good, got seated despite not having a booking. The service was quick and for the type of restaurant and the area it was in, it wasn't too pricy.

We ate here twice in our 3 day stay in Marrakesh ( mainly because we stayed in the Al Fassia hotel for 2 nights and it was convenient but also because of the good reviews). The food was very good, the service was of a high standard. The first night it was my birthday and the staff brought me the... More

We saw Al Fassia in a Sunday Times review and weren't disappointed. It is run by the same family as the Al Fassia closer to the city. Our Riad booked taxi for us so we were confident in getting back to the Medina. Very attentive service, great food, all female staff. Would definitely recommend Al Fassia. The chicken with lemon... We visited this restaurant on reading reviews. The Gueliz branch was closed so we visited the Aguedal branch. The food seemed very authentic; prices were in the top ranges but the dishes were all tasty. The fish tagine was a hit as was the beef with prunes. I wanted to try couscous before leaving Morocco. I've never been a big... More

My wife and I visited Al Fassia last week on the recommendation of our Riad. A short taxi ride out of the city towards the airport (always get your Riad to book the taxi so no rip off). A wonderful Moroccan restaurant with superb food good wine and excellent service from "the girls" Quantities were large, I had the Berber... More

Al Fassia, (located away from the Medina) served great Moroccan food in lovely surroundings with excellent service.

The food here was so delicious, my boyfriend and I went for dinner 2 nights in a row! The tagines were so rich and more-ish - we had the lamb with prunes and apricots, as well as the chicken with caramelised pumpkin. In both dishes, the meat was really tender and just falling off the bone. The mezze starter is... More

The place is beautiful! Outside crazy Marrakesh. The service and food are one of the bests in town. I recommend it!
