Loved this place, all female staff who smile and take care of you. Excellent Moroccan food especially chicken with lemons and olives. Good Moroccan wine list. Just a great casual spot for lunch.

We went to this Al Fassia remommended by our hot because tge one in Gueliz was fully booked. I have to say that I was expecting more. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was discouraging with poor lighting and uncomfortable seating. We asked to move to the patio because my boyfriend would not fit under the table. He is not fat,... We visited here as part of a group of 15, on 2 tables, on 1 May 2015. 7-hour slow-cooked lamb tangia (tagine)was ordered 24 hours prior, but when we arrived and actually ordered, we were advised that our dish was slow-cooked BEEF. Not happy, Jan! Accompanying, separately ordered salads were fine. The wine that our table ordered from the provided... More

Al Fassia is a great institution in Marrakech for many many years as it is run by women from Fes. In a male dominated environment it is so good to see women taking a lead.

We had high expectations as we are frequent visitors to Al Fassia in Windsor (owned by the uncle of the women running the Al-Fassia restaurants/riads in Marrakech) and were not disappointed. Fantastic range of dishes, all done to perfection. Atmosphere modern Moroccan comfortable for our group of 8 people but would also be perfect for a romantic dinner. Looking forward... More

Very good food, perhaps not quite as good as we had expected reading some of the reviews, but very good all the same and a lovely atmosphere too. Good service, relatively expensive considering other places but very nice for a treat.

We had hoped for authentic food bursting with flavour in an authentic setting. We were so disappointed. The modern out of town restaurant gave the feeling of a chain overlooking a busy road. We ordered two mixed kebabs, a mixed salad and a bottle of red Moroccan wine and it underwhelmed. It was ok but nothing more. Service very good... More

We tried to get to the Al Fassia at Guerliz which is owned by the same people. We chose their speciality i.e. shoulder of lamb for two which was excellent but wasn't shoulder unless they replaced the shoulder bone with bones from elsewhere on the lamb. The restaurant was on two floors and quite large and impersonal
