We chanced on this one and felt really lucky. We sat in the centre of the riad under a canopy. Local, soft, live music played throughout our meal. Created great atmosphere without interfering with conversation. Food was beautifully presented, generous and very tasty. Certainly good value and good selection. We were served by a polite, friendly young waiter. It was... More

This restaurant is located in a very traditional Riad and offers authentic Moroccan food. Savoury biscuits were given as appetisers on the house. Staff were very attentive. Try the lamb tagine with onions and almonds, the best tagine I have ever tasted! There was also live music where the singer was adapting Western songs to Moroccan tunes; it was really... More

We came back for the second time tonight and it was even better than the first. I had the lamb tagine with prunes and almonds and my friend had the beef with eggs. The staff, atmosphere, decor - everything is spot on. Shame to be leaving Marrakech tomorrow as we would have come back for a third!

Tucked away is a lovely little courtyard that seems as if royalty could be tucked in an alcove of this beautiful garden. Very well priced and the chicken and lemon tagine was really tasty. A man playing a lute finished the atmosphere and as the sun fell the lights came on. Such a refreshing change from the busy streets and... More

We were here for lunch. The restaurant is a quiet hidden garden in the narrow roads of the medina.Typical moroccan atmosphere and furnishing. We were the only guests, we sat on a big sofa to taste a wonderful tajine witn prunes and almonds. Cheap enough, I recommend it.

We loved this place, i went with my husband for a romantic dinner. This riad is amazing, with a lovely garden, live traditional music and dancers. The food was great and so was te service and it wasn't expensive. We would definitely go back next time we go to Marrakech

Having had a lovely time at the Dar Mimoun on our last trip to Marrakesh we were keen to revisit the restaurant this time too, especially as recent reviews had indicated that it was as good as ever. Maybe we just went on a bad night but we were kept waiting for an age before our drinks arrived and our... More

We regularly visit Dar Mimoun when we are in Marrakech. Only a couple of minutes walk from the square, the setting is traditional and the food excellent. Reasonably priced, with great staff, that's why we keep going back. Highly recommend it. Shona and Youssef
