Bit too formal

Don't get me wrong food was very good, the place just took itself too seriously. Whole atmosphere was stuffy and this was a shame considering a great pastillia starter and a very flavoursome lamb confit. Lighten up chaps and the place could get busier.

We liked this restaurant so much that we dined there twice (as did at least one other group) during our one week stay in Marrakech. We thought the restaurant stylish, with different styles of tables and chairs spaced nicely apart, on rugs on the tiled floor. Moroccan artefacts are displayed in glassed niches around the dining room. The fireplace was... More

We went twice on our recent trip to Marrakesh; its not easy to find restaurants (good job we have tripadvisor !) and especially with variety in Marrakesh. Yes this place is more fine dining but makes for a lovely evening and reasonably priced.Menu is limited and you can have local dishes well cooked here-but also they offer great service with... More

This restaurant was close by our Riad in the Mousainne area. It's down a tiny dark alley but there is a chap from the restaurant standing by the entrance and will take you to the door . We went twice and had the most wonderful food in a beautiful setting sitting by a log fire . very good wine available... More

An upmarket restaurant situated very close to the Mouassine Fountain. We had a midday meal and chose from a lunch menu untypical of most in Marrakesh – and were unsure if the portions would feed two moderate eaters. An Assiette consisting various small dishes was ordered along with an omelette with vegetables. The former was made up of at least... More

We found this lovely restaurant quite by chance - and what a wonderful find! The food was delicious and ample, the service warm but what an elegant, peaceful place in the midst of mad, bustling Marrakech. Villa Flore so deserves a much higher ranking than it appears to have!

I loved everything about our dinner in Villa Flore: the food, the athmosphere, the decoration, the fact that they serve wine... We came for dinner really early but were welcomed warmly and didn't have to wait for the food for a long time. The owner chatted with us for a while and seemed like a nice lady. I highly recommend... This restaurant is set in the most beautiful art deco palace in the medina. A truly unique and very stylish place to come for a nice lunch or a romantic dinner. We have been here many times and keep coming back. Excellent French cuisine, nice wines and very good value for money. The interiors aa well as the food are... More

This restaurant is worth visiting for the food alone but the ambience and the architecture makes it just perfect! You are seated in the beautiful art deco courtyard or inside in the art deco dining room, depending on weather. The service is friendly and if you eat the set menue the prices are very good!
