Great food

We had a lovely meal here for my birthday. Loved the vegetarian sharing starter and the tagines were delicious. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced.

I expect that many people come to Morocco in part because of the tasty Moroccan food they've had back home. We were like that, but frankly have been disappointed with stale bread, too oily tangines, etc. even at places recommended by guide books. The Moroccan food in California was better than most places here. However, our dinner at Souk Kafe... More

It's a little bit hard to find, but definitely worth it. Food is excellent there - especially tanjia is worth recommendation as it's served right from the pot (apparently that's how it should be) and tastes amazing. Also worth noting that this is one of the few places inside the medina that serves beer, so if you want to escape... More

This is one of the few places in the Medina to serve Beer and Wine. It has a relaxed atmosphere and great views over the roof tops.

This is a lovely terrace cafe where you sit under straw umbrellas and on traditional cushions. The food and service is excellent, although for some reason even though we went there on two successive days (it was that good) we always struggled to find it's location and had to ask. My only quibble is the white wine was not that... More

For a start, they actually served vegetables, which you'd think were in ration elsewhere. The terrace was really quirky - in a good way. The food was certainly above average - and the menu had some excellent puddings. And in the evening there were 2 local musicians playing discreet Moroccan traditional music - in a 'stylish' non intrusive way. Usually... More

Had lunch on the roof terrace. Food was good and the mint ice tea aas delicious. Great place to stop for lunch after going around the souks. Nice and relaxing.

I can only echo the positive reviews of others - a peaceful, pleasant place to eat in the middle of the souk. It has a fairly standard Moroccan menu but of above average quality. As a non-meat eater I was getting a bit tired of eating vegetable tagine everywhere so tried the Moroccan salad selection offered as a starter -... More

My girlfriend and I have eaten twice at this cool little restaurant/ cafe. Both times we've sat on the terrace which is a well appointed space with comfy sofas and shade yet still assailed by the hurly-burly of the city below. The harira soup is fantastic and the selection of Moroccan salads are wonderful. The main meals are top notch,... More
