Amazing restaurant - must visit!

We looked on trip advisor last night to see what restaurants were in our area, Gueliz. Found out about this gem down the road from our hotel. Gorgeous decor and lively friendly staff welcomed us in. Ordered the 10 mezzes between two of us with drinks. Best mezze ever, a mixture of hot and cold... read more

Azar was recommended as a Lebanese restaurant so we were excited to dine at a restaurant that differed from the Moroccan cuisine. We were disappointed that the menu was most similar to other Moroccan restaurants with little to offer in the way of Lebanese cuisine. After being told that the beef filet was sold out, I opted for a different... More

Booked Azar for my friends hen do dinner, absolutely beautiful food. We ordered the 16 dish meze between 3 of us which was a feast. Would definitely recommend, as they select the dishes for you. Only downfall for us was they clearly demanded a tip at the end of the meal, and kept coming over as we were sorting the... More

My husband and I ate here on the recommendation of our Riad and they kindly arranged a driver to take us there and back. Really cool bar, pretty modern and funky; had cocktails upstairs first (which are v expensive!) along with a shisha before our meal downstairs. All very nice. Our meal was delicious and the service was good. We... More

Lovely food well presented and atmosphere, especially for off season. Staff were attentive while musician and belly dancer provided an added touch to the evening. We finished off with Shisha after eating more than are fill. Reasonably priced and worth a visit.

This restaurant was great, excellent food and good service. The live band added to the atmosphere. It felt like a young lively restaurant rather than a very traditional one. The portion sizes of the Mezze were large and we over ordered!

A majestic atmosphere. We had a selection of sides that were delicious and very filling. Don't leave without trying the halloumi cheese sticks! Also, the people there were really friendly. Definitely want to visit again.

Mr and Mrs Fishy needed a break for Tagine and Cous Cous, and took a risk on Lebanese food. The food was surprisingly good and the places was loads of fun with live music and belly dancers. Small hiccup with our dessert order but it didn't matter, we were enjoying the show!
