Azar is located in the new town of Marrakech and seems to attract not only tourists but also local people. We started our evening on the cozy terrace and took a drink before going to the restaurant for dinner with live music and belly dancers. The interior of the restaurant is rather impressive, a blend of new and old. After... More

Nowadays you have to be cautious with places with trendy and hip reputation. Very often it means médiocre food, beautiful and unfriendly staff and high prices. Azar is all the opposite - it made our last night in Marrakech unforgettable. First of all, we didn t have reservation. The extremely helpful and friendly lady greeted us and did a major... More

Amazing night. Great food-highly recommend the lamb shwarma!! 2 dishes, shisha, 3 alcoholic drinks & soft drinks worked out around £70. Drinks are made strong if requested without any hassle. Service is impeccable esp in the shisha section - our charcoal was replaced every few mins, will definitely be returning.

Group of us had our last dinner at Azars - food was great and very tasty. We ordered about 16 mezzes between 8 of us. We also stayed for Shisha, and happy hour drinks - Asian mojito is much recommended.

We were recommended this by our Riad and what a great find it was. Restaurant and bar were contemporary and smart with good if slightly unsure service at times. The menu was great with a good range of middle eastern dishes and we found the prices very reasonable indeed. Definitely worth putting on the list of places to eat in... More

Excellent service! We had the mezze between 5 with a lovely selection of hot and cold plates. Good local Moroccan wine. Moved to the shisha area after to watch belly dancing. Overall really good experience. Recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech!
