We ate at this restaurant last night, early in the evening so we were the only people there. We were drawn in by their 80Dhs menu - a choice of harira or veg soup or Moroccan salad as a starter followed by couscous or tagine or brochettes and then a creme caramel or sweet pastilla or orange&cinnamon for dessert. The... More

Kept walking past this place as very close to the Riad we were staying in, and it looked nice from the outside. We nipped in very late one evening, it was sadly empty but we thought we'd give it a go anyway. The waitress was very polite, we ordered the beef stew and the cous cous with 7 vegetables and... The food in this restaurant and the Jemaa-el-Fna is good, very tasty. The menu has more to offer than the usual tajines and couscous. The service is ok.

We went to Dar Belkabir twice. I regreat trying other restaurants, because Dar Belkabir was far superior. The place is quiet and cozy, which gives you a chance to relax from the buzz of the Medina. We had the 75 dirham (7 euros) set menus for dinner. Soup, salad, main courses were very tasty in both visits. The highlight though... More

The evening I visited the restaurant it was very quiet. This place is very beautiful and very Moroccan inside with a nice calm atmosphere. I think you have the option to dine outside and upstairs as well. I had a great salad and the true delight was the fabulous chicken pastilla. It was awesome and something I want to try... More

Visited following a recommendation and was not disappointed. Food was excellent although definitely not cheapest in Marrakech. Certainly good quality though. Service was good and food received fast. Bread was really fresh and hot..... Good location just of main square and was quiet.

Open space and very low tables, but this adds to the atmosphere. Unfortunately we sat at one table where you could halfway look into the kitchen, maybe you should avoid that table. Other than that, the food was delicious, the waitresses were friendly.

I can't understand why this beautiful restaurant was not full every night. Of our 10 meals in Marrakesh this was the best and one of the cheapest. The tagines were superb. The place is spotlessly clean and the service excellent. This is a great place to go when you have had enough of the chaos of the square. The only... More

Delicious warm Moroccan bread, lemon and chicken tagiene and vegetable cous cous! Service was a little slow, but staff were very nice.

Beautiful moroccan restaurant, with a real moroccan feel! Very nice in comparison to the other western restaurants on the main square. This is a little hidden gem! It has no rooftop terrace to look outside, but it is very nice to be inside! The food was good and not too expensive! I would recommend this place.
