On our second night in Marrakech, my wife and I had dinner in Lotus Privilege Restaurant; this was truly a dining experience. After walking through a narrow part of the medina, we arrived at a riad which opens up to a breathtaking palace like interior with pools. We were welcomed with fresh fruit juice and then provided entertainment by Gnawan... More

The decor is very nice, but the food is not at par and definitely expensive by Morocco standards. The entertainment (belly dancers and African players) give even more the feel of a tourist trap.

My girlfriends and I visited the Lotus Privilege on 6th June for dinner. We sat in the courtyard for drinks, by the plunge pool, before going into the restaurant. The staff were lovely. There was a set 5 course menu, so you need to be hungry and as a couple of us were vegetarian, they were only too happy to... More

Amazing...fabulous....magical...exquisite....delicious....all these words don't do justice to our evening here. This restaurant just opened in February of 2014, and it should be a "must" if you're wanting an extra special evening dinner in Marrakech! Starting with the welcome fruit juice drink and hand washing, and musicians playing; then on to shared appetizers, and an amazing veal tanjine. All just beyond... More

The whole experience is worth trying. Once you walk though The Medina you approach this restaurant and start noticing some flowers and lights, nothing special. Once you open the door you will find a breathtaking view of this small palace like, you are met by a traditional Moroccan musicians, offered drinks and have your hands cleaned by a sophisticated and... Not only is the decoration of Lotus Privelege breathtaking from the moment you step in, the cuisine of their Moroccan restaurant is exquisite. The chef's fusion of modern and traditional cuisine was quite impressive. I highly recommend this place for an enjoyable and unique experience in the heart of the medina.

I was told that this would be a wonderful dining experience and it was. We were met at the door by the host and shown to the inner court yard where we were offered drinks while we waited to be seated. The meal is a traditional morrocon meal with 5 courses, all beautifully presented. The waiters were attentive and helpful... More

The decoration is wonderful, very nice garden. However, you do not eat the decoration, although the food was OK, the value was low.

The service was excellent but unfortunately the food wasn't. We enjoyed the food but at £100 we expected better. There was six courses, two were very good but the rest just ordinary. There was entertainment in the form of traditional Moroccan music and some dancing, we really enjoyed this. The restaurant is beautiful and it's a very romantic setting. We... More
