The courtyard at Dar Cherifa in the heart of the medina is truly an oasis of calm - especially welcome given the temp of 45 degrees C and the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfares. You have to ring the doorbell to enter and once in you can forget about what's outside. Delicately scented with rose petals and with... More

We undertook a Moroccan cookery class here and it was great. There were only 4 of us so it was like a private master class. It was great to eat our own food for lunch. What made it great were the staff who were friendly and attentive. A great wee place: quaint, quiet and so different from its surroundings. Recommended.

We had lunch in this gorgeous riad during our girls weekend away. It's pricier than other places but the food was beautiful and well worth a visit.

We only stopped here for a coffee, obviously it had been renovated and it was lovely to step from the lane way into such an open air area.Seating was comfortable, great clean toilets and delicious coffee.

The service and food is excellent at Dar Cherifa, however, it's the architectural splendour that makes this place all the more enjoyable. My friend and I spent three hours here for lunch on our recent trip to Marrakech. It is the perfect place to chill over delicious food. The tables are not close together giving a sense of space and... More

What a gem- we were so glad that we found this place hidden down a winding back alley! Mint tea and patisseries on the terrace was so wonderful and relaxing we stayed and sunbathed up there the entire afternoon. The building is so elaborate and beautiful with a somewhat vintage feel. The owner and his son are totally charming and... More

What a lovely place to chill and enjoy the ambience and the delicious food, if you choose a soup or little snack or the cakes it is all delightful. What really disturbed us was the manager or owner, an elderly woman. Watching her we realized how badly she was treating the waitresses! The staff was doing a friendly and Professional... More

Popped into lunch here on a reccomendation of Riad Magellan. Lovely soup and the roasted vegetable salad with egg as very nice. Very relaxing location if a little bit difficult to find.

After reading the reviews on TA I was looking forward to see the place. I found the place relatively easily. When i entered the restaurant, it looked a little tired after seeing all the nice pictures, although still beautiful. I ate a salad. It was ok but nothing outstanding. A bit dissapointed...

Difficult to find, a man on a street corner eventually took us there, big mistake as he wanted a tip, but knocked on the door and saved by the friendly staff. So peaceful inside, we had rose tea and ginger juice. Yes the prices are higher than an ordinary cafe but well worth it to relax in such a peaceful... More
