Had a gorgeous meatball tagine in the downstairs room, then lay on the roof terrace in the full winter sun drinking tea and eating cake - such a suntrap, and amazing views over the rooftops of the Medina. Worth hunting down - and don't think it's closed, just knock on the door and they will let you in.

This is a stunning building that feels like a very high end restaurant/hotell. Rose petals scattered in the shallow pool give off a heavenly scent. Food is available (and looked very good) but you can also enjoy feeling rich and famous for the price of a 20dh coffee. Note it only opens at 12 and you have to knock to... More

It is a nice place to come for some peace and quiet. The food is just OK, but it is the building itself that is interesting. I have been there many times before, and this time I was a little disappointed with the seating on the top floor. It smelled a bit of mould.

We had so much fun learning to cook Moroccan food. There were four of us, and we picked up another couple on the way. On arrival we were greeted and given pastries and the ubiquitous mint tea. A table was laid out in an ante room with six chopping boards and six knives (sharp enough for the job). Our chef... More

On a short visit to Marrakech we wanted to learn more about how to cook with spices properly, and how to cook couscous without it going stodgy. We signed up for a short cooking class at this restaurant with Mariem and Amal and it was just what we wanted. If you are starting with couscous that is not 'ready-to-cook' then... More

The restaurant is worth visiting just for the architectural value of the building and the photo/art exposition inside. I had tea and cake and both were good. Another visitor said that the food was good too. However, the service is very slow... but it does give you more time to enjoy the roof terrace

We love this building and always visit when we're in town for a mint tea or coffee on the top terrace. We were here in the pouring rain and liked to watch the water pouring in to the marble basin below.

This was one of those places that will be remembered for a long time, to try and describe it is really difficult as how can you describe paradise? You first have to find it- which isn't easy as its hidden away down one of the many crazy alleyways of the souke, we asked a guide to take us there and... More

This place is a beautifully restored riad hidden away in the Medina. It's quite hard to find as it's hidden behind an unassuming door. The place is very nice and relaxing. The food is really good - the selections of Moroccan salads was delicious! Definitely worth a visit.
