Up a narrow staircase, past some toilets and up on to an old veranda with dusty old furniture that looked as if it was about 200 years old, mostly falling apart. Apart from a local couple having some tea, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. Very limited menu. Ordered tagine, which wasn't tagine at all but basically... More

Good restaurant opposite the Saadian tombs at the end of the Kasbah providing a great place to people watch , lovely third floor open terrace with wonderful views looking over the rooftops to the snow covered mountains on a level with nesting storks adding even more character. Lots of local choice on the menu , delicious Moroccan pastries , very... More

Nothing but the view. Meals are disgusting, the place isn't neat at all, service is slow and to conclude, it is overpriced. Worst food experience in Marrakesh after 12 days.

There are some restaurants here next to each other, but this is one i would recommend. Although the entrance is a bit hidden, once arrived to the rooftop you have a great view of the mosque. We were here for dinner and had the traditional pastilla which was very good.

We came here yesterday for some dinner on New Year's Eve. The place was completely empty at 20:45. I don't know if it's because they were not doing anything to celebrate new year unlike many other places or because it's in a non touristy part of Marrakech. At this point I was expecting nothing but the worst but it was... More

We went here for lunch after a visit to the Saadian Tombs and were not disappointed. The beautiful roof terrace puts you level with the nesting storks whilst giving you a good view of life in the streets below and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We were short on time as we had a flight to catch and told our... More

This restaurant us also known as Stork, perhaps due to being the closest to the Storks' nest above Rue de la Kasbah. I rate this number two of the group of three cafes at the north end of this street. Don't be put off by the low key entrance, and the plain staircase. The view of the storks is worth... More

We stopped in for lunch before visiting the Saadian Tombs. The food was good value for money (around 100dh for sandwiches, chips and drinks for the two of us and also included free olives and more bread!). Well worth it for the lovely atmosphere and views across the Kasbah roofs and of the nesting storks.

If you are visiting the kasbah or the saadian tombs, this is a great spot to grab some lunch. Located almost directly opposite the saadian tombs on rue de la kasbah, it has a quaint rooftop terrace on 3 levels, with excellent views (complete with storks!) The Moroccan food is fresh and tasty, though the service can be a bit... More
