We bought a take away box of little almond sweets on our first day - the female staff were absolutely lovely and we were given several samples as our box was filled. On my last day I returned for a second time, this time with the intention of taking them home. Hopefully they will make it through Australian customs! The... More

After being ripped off for three days, we came across this patisserie off the Jamaa El Fna square. The 'royale' chocolate fondant and home made lemonade, a superb coffee and a pear tart were just over 50 Dirham - a true bargain. Served by a very friendly waiter too. Result.

Down the back of this establishment is a good spot for coffee or tea break. Out of the hussle and bussle of the main usually crowded pedestrian street. The cakes and pastries are fine and some pepole are put off by the BEES (not flies) hovering around the display cabinets.... Bees are cool folks. Coffee of good standard (been in... More

Great pastries and bread, always fresh since it is a very popular place. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is because the service could be improved. The first time we did not get any help even if the staff were not busy, so finally we left without buying anything. The second time however it was better... More

Great patisseries near main square and pleasant spot from the hustle and bustle around. Good coffees and teas accompany the Moroccan or French cakes.

This is a patiserrie with a tea room attached. The tea room area is a little dark and depressing and the cakes were fairly average. If you are passing and feel like some refreshment it is ok but not worth a special visit. There are plenty of places with lovely roof top terraces which are nicer.

the cakes were covered in flies!!! We could not face eating there and walked straight out. We were planning on ordering a birthday cake for my friend but even though these were stored in glass cabinets with no flies we just didn't want to risk it.

After dinner in the main square a pastry at this shop right off the the square is a must for those with a sweet tooth. I had an almond pastry that was delicious and if I could have I would have gone back the following night to try something else.

No matter where our walks took us we always seemed to be conveniently returning to this establishment. A perfect place for a light lunch, tea and cake away from the hustle and bustle outside. Although we did not try one, their ice creams seem to be the first choice of the locals. The downstairs salon was our preferred choice, as... More

A little disappointing - not particularly authentic decor and for every cake on sale there appeared to be about 5 or 6 wasps buzzing about
