Huge selection of pastries. It's just a pity the best patisserie in Marrakech doesn't have much of a vegan choice.

Located just 2 minutes off of Djemaa el Fna, this pastry shop is a convenient place to stop in to get some delicious pastries or Moroccan cookies. Since their tea room is in the back with no view, you may consider doing what my husband and I did and take your pastries of choice in a to go box, go... More

Princes is the spot for reliably good coffee (Nus-Nus) and the occasional indulgent cake treat. The back room is a haven from the hussle and bussle of the street.

We absolutely loved the pastries and cakes from this place, and went there daily on our visit to Marrakesh. The staff were also very polite and friendly. The only downside was the fact that during the day/afternoon - the shop is always full of a swarm of wasps!!! Despite these, would def recommend a visit.

On rue Bab Agnaou, just off the main square of the medina, the huge and bustling Jemaa el Fna. The tea room is accessed through the patisserie shop area, so you can get a good idea of what's on offer on the way in. The drinks, pastries, and ice-cream and sorbet coupes were all excellent. On the way out, the... More

Perfect place to get out off the heat and sit down for afternoon tea and cakes or even an ice cream. Tea and cake are £4 for 2.

Some of the best patisseries to be found in Marrakech medina. This shop, located just off the main square Djemma al Fna, also has a small café at the back. It offers not only Moroccan cakes and biscuits (very sweet, often sticky and based on nut pastes and pastry) but also French inspired ones. The chocolate log is incredibly, well,... More

This smart patisserie on one of the busy roads leading from the main square, has a great range of Moroccan pastries. Try the pastilla with pigeon for a quick and cheap lunch. They will warm it up for you and it is delicious.

The patisserie des Princes is one of the better patisseries in Marrakech, the pastries are stored behind glass so is more hygienic and the variety is vast from small bite size pastries to bigger cakes. The pastries are not too sweet nor cheap but I would recommend for the quality and hygiene.
