Total rip off. Spend you money some where else. They took you in and before you can see where you can sit you have to for your drinks. Then you dont see anything except satellite discs and drink your tap water "mint tea".

Great view of the square, but overpriced drinks! Also, slow service for a coffee (came 20 minutes after soft drinks)

Loved he tea and relaxing place. You pay 15dirhams for a cup of tea and sit for as long as you like. We were able to map out our evening here with pleasure!

In every guide and that's why it"s allways crowded with tourists. Still service maintains a good level. If you can find a free table go to the rooftop. reat vieuw on Jamaa el Fnaa, especially at night.

Great mint tea and refreshments with an amazing view of the hustle and bustle of the market below. Do try the mint tea and aim for a table nearest the railings for a panoramic view of the market's people and goings on!

Ideal toilet stop and mid morning pit stop for refreshment. Brilliant location to watch the world go by and people watching in this bustling city. Have plenty of small change for toilet as have to pay!

And we tried a few others during our stay in Marrakech! This is the only one with a full view of both sides of the square. Great for sunset to see food stalls setting up and the smoke rising from their kitchens. It is a bit of wasted potential - cafe glacier could be so much more - but for... More

We spotted this place as possibly having the best view over the Jamaa el Fna square and we were right. The only pain is that you have to somehow manage to get a table near the edge. You have to buy a drink to get to the tables, but after that its free for all, so a bit disorganised. We... More

This 'cafe' has a fantastic view over the Jemaa el Fna - really the best place to look down on the square as it comes alive on an evening. However, that's where the joy ends I'm afraid. You are greeted at balcony level with a turnstile-type arrangement, the passage through which is obtained by buying a self-serve bottled drink from... More

The view is what you go for and it gives a great perspective of the sheer size and scope of the square. Yes, you have to buy a drink and the turnstile concept is a little odd but it is worth it. Don't expect a quiet, relaxing drink under the stars. At sunset its mayhem.
