Superb restaurant

What can I say... perfect. The service is very accurate, the atmosphere is great, a riad very well mantained. The food was delicious, not a huge variety of dishes but well prepared. Quite difficult to find, one of the staff pick you up in the main road if needed. The cheaper menu is more than... read more

As others have said it is quite hard to find this place, but worth the effort. The food is the same whether you have a small or medium or large dinner, you just get more courses for more money. It is a fascinating place where you get a chance to have a wander around before dinner. The price is fixed... More

This place is not easy to find - our taxi driver had to call them for directions! They do however have a very large and friendly doorman in a red cloak out on the street to guide you in otherwise we'd probably still be looking. From the street and in keeping with local tradition, the place gives no clues as... More

Quite difficult to find - look out for a guy dressed in red to guide you to the restaurant in the medina. Good quality food and big portions - nice staff, dinner in the inner court. Moroccan house wine wasn't a revelation but included.

We were a group of 12 having dinner together and everything was very good. The setting is fantastic, the quality of the food and drink is excellent, the service very friendly if not charming - I ordered a coffee and a cognac and got two glasses of Grand Marnier...

We had a fixed menu. Somewhat difficulties in corresponding in English. The salad was beautifully served on a several-level dish, the cous cous was the best cous cous we ever had. A group of 12 we received large plates in the middle of the table and could taste from all the dishes which was great. I would love to come... More

We went here in December 2014. Overall, this is the best restaurant experience we had in Marrakech, and I would definitely return. I highly recommend it to others looking for something that "feels" local (though, I admit, it was all tourists eating here). The riad itself is very hard to find (even compared with other riads in Marrakech...). Though, like... More

Pascal at our Riad recommended Ksar Es Saoussan, he told us we would be treated like princesses and he was right. This is someones home as well as a restaurant and we were invited to look around at this beautiful building before being seated for our meal, the menu was fixed price with limited choice but served beautifully and thoroughly... It's hard to find restaurants that serve Moroccan food similar to what you would eat in a Moroccan home, but this was a very pleasant surprise. The fixe prixe menu made me nervous at first but everything was excellent and the small menu was more than enough. If you want to eat very good, authentic Moroccan food - go here.
