We ate twice at stall 14. By far the best food stall. Just look at the amount of people that que to get a seat there. Dinner for 2 tonight with a cola each 50 drh. So bloody cheap and delicious. Something nice about the main chef man too 😜😉

No matter what you're looking for - it will probably find you! As soon as you enter the square you'll be continually approached by ever so helpful ;-) locals offering their wares or to guide you to whatever takes your fancy. Beware though that if you have in mind to get to a particular restaurant or a particular spa, you're... More

We ate at a local stall in the square and suffered no health consequences! Enjoy the Moroccan salads!

We ate at stall #1 two consecutive nights with our family of 5. Great kebabs -- we ordered meat (which they said was beef) and chicken -- and harira soup. Dirt cheap -- ample food, large water, and sodas for family of 5 came out to about 220 Moroccan dirhams ($26 US). Stalls magically appear at sundown, and each appears... More

Great place to enjoy local food. You also get to sit with locals as they enjoy their mid day lunch. Fantastic place to people watch and enjoy the summer breeze!

We ate at Stall #1. The food was pretty good... When walking around, every stall will try to get you to sit at their station. Most of the places serve pretty much the same things.. We did have the snails at one of the stalls and they were also pretty good. Not too expensive, and worth it for the experience.... More

My husband and I just spent eight days in Marrakech and in that time we ate at the stalls in the square a couple of times. We didn't worry about how sanitary they were and we had no bad experiences with the guys trying to get us to eat at their stalls. We talked to a lot of them as... More

My partner and I have just returned from 5 days in Marrakech. We saved a visit to eat at the square until our last night. Reading the reviews on TripAdvisor we almost decided not to - so many are scathing about the approach taken by the locals and food hygiene. I'm so glad we took a leap of faith and... More

The stalls there are good fun to look, but all very touristy stuff. It really comes alive at night! They have drummers and monkeys and snakes and belly-dancers and story tellers then.
