It's not 5 star but it's cultural!

Firstly I never understand why fussy people who are used to 5 star restaurants would eat at ANY of the food stalls and expect 5 star standards. So if you don't like "street food" it won't be to your liking! The three tourist books I've read over the past 3 years and the past few visits have all... read more

The bread and salsa were excellent, we enjoyed the eggplant, pastilla, sausages and Kefta. Unbelievably inexpensive and great seat to enjoy the square at night. I think eating with the bread as utensil is not a bad suggestion, but none of our group of 4 had any stomach upset. Our guide Hamid from Original morocco Tours said he had been sending... More

Even if you think you shouldn't directly go to tent number one, you should. Food is tasty and quickly served. Prices are low and staff is friendly. Don't be afraid of intestinal problems. The food is fresh and dishes are clean.

We were a little bit worried about it... it s still food in the middle of the road!! But wait... The food was so good... tasty and big portions as well! The staff really friendly and you can really live the moroccan life seated there and watching the people in the square!! We eat there every nights... and we tried... More

As long as you're ok with taking a risk on street food this could be the place for you, it definitely has local atmosphere! But if you don't want to risk it, try one of the many restaurants surrounding the square for a view from above, and possibly safer food, instead. Aicha No. 1 is a large stall, on the... More

We had no qualms about choosing this stall to eat at, it was one of the busiest! we had a sneaky look at what everyone else was eating and it looked delicious, the atmosphere was lively and fun. As soon as we sat down a clean sheet of paper was laid over the table and we were presented with freshly... More

This was our first meal in Marrakech, and certainly the worst!! Dirty, and tastes awfull, i'm sure i hadn't diarrhea because i couldn't ate anything after taking the first bite, neither my family! By the way we ordered chicken tajine. I can't understand why so many people recommend it! After this mistake, the local guide said we should not eat... More

Wanted to eat in the market and was recommended this place. I was very worried about eating in the market and was happy to have a recommendation since it's a scary place to eat, since you have no idea where to eat... this place was exactly what I wanted since I wanted to eat in the market. It was very... More

We really loved Aicha's in 2011 but had a disappointing experience in August 2014. Five of us went and two were satisfied, while one was half-satisfied. My wife's aunt was served lamb chops that were tougher than my shoes. I'd told my party how great a visit to Aicha's woudl be but they felt I'd misled them.
