La Mamounia was one of the most interesting and beautiful places to see in Marrakesh. I would not recommend you to book a room unless you have cash to splash but definitely go and visit the place as a turist attraction. The gardens are extensive and beautiful and the building is exquisite and very well maintained. We had tea at... More

The 20 small salad dishes were a little less exciting than last year. The main course was ok but gave a sterile impression. decor is good but boring. walking though the part at night is a nice thing to do - in fact you have to to get to the restaurant.

We went to the French restaurant and it was one of the best steak with foie gras that we had. Service was impeccable and also the chocolate fondant dessert is excellent! Beautiful terrace, beautiful view, lovely gardens and all that. But if you're going to charge more than £40 for a salad, a sandwich and a bottle of water - which is fine, it's the Mamounia - the staff could at least smile and maybe not stand around in small groups talking loudly.

Well what do you say Everything you could expect and more Perhaps the best cheese I've ever tasted , Brie with truffle . The service matched our expectations Local wine was over priced but what you would expect from an institution Gt way to spend Christmas Day , not a turkey or piece of ham in site If you want... Worth visiting this famous hotel if only to drink tea on the terrace as we did. Yes it is around 6 Euros for a tea / coffee but the experience is worth it. The hot chocolate was divine.

This is an iconic hotel and the renovations have been done with great style deserving of this lovely old dame. The gardens have been beautifully restored and no detail left to chance in the interior. The drinks and snacks on the terrace were divine ,the food in the main restaurant was exquisite ... the staff all look good.... and thats... More
