They have elaborate descriptions for the dishes and indeed some are good. I will reserve the word 'excellent' . The combinations are not... read more

If you don't stay at La Mamounia go for lunch or evening meal in one to the three excellent restaurants. Stroll around the gardens before deciding on your chosen cuisine, although reservations are advised. Food, service and surroundings superb.

Really great food and service in an amazing place. I really enjoyed the "petites salades" and the pastilla.

La Mamounia offers three types of cuisine. French, Italian and Moroccan. All three restaurants are exceptional in both cuisine and service.

The Moroccan restaurant at La Mamounia seems to come in for quite a lot of flack in Tripadvisor reviews, but our experience of it was excellent. Delightful staff (despite everyone being tired from Ramadan), an elegant, intimate setting, excellent food and wine (and a very nice young sommelier, who was informative about Moroccan wines). We had pastilla to start, followed... More

Went for a special occasion for lunch brunch at the pavilion by the pool. Staff were attentive and friendly. Buffet was well stocked with a good selection of local and international fare. Nice meal but overpriced for me. You pay for the setting and the gardens. Go have a coffee and a wander round.

We simply had fresh juice on the terrace, and just that was an utterly unforgettable experience! The gardens are phenomenal although walking around them if you are not a guest is discouraged, which is understandable, but the view alone is lovely.

Pros: Friendly waiter Cons: This Italian restaurant is (way) overpriced. Boring food hidden behind somewhat innovative presentation. Overpriced champagne and wine. Unless you want to be seen at the Mamounia, nothing special. If not for its location, this restaurant would be empty...

Had dinner one evening in their Italian Restaraunt the food was ok but the service was poor we were really disappointed with the attitude of the waiting staff plus the person who looked like he was in charge was rude and disinterested.

We decided to spend a lazy end of the day in a luxury environment and everything was perfect. Still wonder how to make a very good cocktail from Islay whisky but it was great indeed. All ingredients of cocktails and desert surprised with amazing notes plus service level even above expected. Thank you!
