Great Place for Lunch

We were getting really tired of the typical Moroccan fare inside the medina and asked our hotel clerk on what she would recommend outside. She immediately proposed the Grande Cafe de la Poste near the train and bus stations. We were very happy we took her advice. When you first arrive at... read more

It is a french restaurant located in the new part of the city. I really liked the food, the desert was dellicious but our waitress was a bit snobbish and tried to correct my french pronunciation twice which is a quite impolite thing.

Our 2nd time here and it was certainly just as good. Had the Prawn Citrus Fruit Salad to start. Good assortment of flavours. Had the lamb shank for mains and my wife went for the Monkfish and Prawn Tagine. Rice pudding for dessert. If you're looking for some good food, this is a great choice.

A very pleasant place That I would recommend you for a few things: Jazz&soul, Blues and several remixes musics; the fine colonial furnitures; their fresh french menus with salads, fish and meat as pleased, so tasty and affordable. At lunch, you'll be waiting for courses while eating fresh fine baguette&butter -typically French, As far as I am-, and in the... More

Called here a couple of weeks ago first for a drink in the lovely cocktail bar upstairs and the next day for lunch before we flew home. Varied menu with good fish. I tried the sea bass fillets with grilled vegetables which was delicious. Even shared a plate of French cheese afterwards which was in perfect condition. Moroccan wines again... More

This is an absolutely beautiful, romantic, majestic place. Just went for wine and a snack but would have come back for dinner if I had been in Marrakech one more night. Spacious, tiled floors, palm trees... love it.

Great cocktail bar on the top floor. Not the best cocktails but the surroundings make up for it. Then went down to the ground floor for dinner. Surprisingly good French brasserie style food and pleasant efficient staff. All in all a nice evening! Recommended.

Le Grand Café de la Poste is an elegant, refreshing oasis outside of the medina to sit and enjoy good food and excellent atmosphere! Defininetely make it a stop while in Marrakech. If you're there a while you may find yourself visiting the cafe more than once.
