The local is colonial style and charming. Good food and varied menu. Good and various also cocktails list from alcoholic to non alcoholic. We were there during lunch time and took advantage to eating out on the terrace, however I suggest a visit inside because the furniture, floors and light are really striking, it seems to go back in time.

We visited this restaurant on recommendation from a friend and we were extremely disappointed. The food was okay, albeit expensive, and the staff who welcome you at the entrance were lovely, but the service for the rest of the night was terrible. Firstly, after looking at the menu we asked if it would be possible to have melon as a... More

I wouldn't recommend it only for fooding, though the food is ok. Prices are a bit high for whta it is, but the place is worth it, definitely. The atmosphere is amazing, you feel like you've traveled in time. The designers made a very good job, it looks like these colonial places. i go there something like once a week... More

Had lunch at le Grand Cafe. Was pretty busy with only western guests, like us! The interior is very charming and the service was fine but the food wasn't tasty at all and over priced. I was very exited after all I had red about this place but overall disappointed when I left.

My daughter and I spent a lovely evening here whilst visiting Marrakesh, we found the staff very efficient and thought the ambience was perfect. A lovely change from the hustle and bustle of the Medina.

You can get some great food in Marrakech, and you can get some poor food. This is certainly closer to the former than the latter. The restaurant is well designed, clean and the staff are friendly. The menu has a lot of choice, even at lunch time, and you can get beers and wines, which is not always the case... More

Two English walked in at lunchtime and made a reservation for dinner, a lovely manager and crisp style establishment. Love coming here for a complete contrast to the sook, French colonial styled excellent service and foods to match, both taken by the starters and lovely mains and yes Moroccan wines. Thank you for making our time with you an experience... More

An institution in Marrakech...not for service! We went t here on the spur of the moment and got a table on the side, outside ( book and get a front table!) ...our order of sole was served quit quickly however we asked for lemon and butter 3 times until the manager finally brought this to us once we had eaten... The tangine was lovely i had lamb two nights in a row, on the third evening i had the beef skewers which were equally yummy. They kept on running out of the leffe blonde beer and i only had a few every visit. A great colonial style building with live music on the top level
