Lovely outdoor enclosed garden

Came here with a large group on the first night of a trip. We had a set menu due to the size of our group. This is one of those miraculous places that's hidden behind a door in the medina that looks like any other door. Then you walk through, follow a path down the steps, and wow! It's a mosaic-tiled garden with trees and birds and a fountain... Granted, it's clearly targeting tourists; the whole place is set up for tour groups and there's... More

This tourist trap restaurant was adequate, but my vegetarian tagine contained a piece of animal fat. The explanation was that the vegetables had been stirred with the same spoon as the meat tagines. This is totally unacceptable and I would not recommend this place as it obviously has extremely poor kitchen practices

Marrakech is famous for its hustle and bustle, it's a game enjoy!, we were certainly hustled into this place by 'helpful' local!!, so it's a FAIR COP on us. Thine fixed price menu clearly states 400MAD per person and the wine was 400MAD both about twice what you would pay elsewhere.......we chose to stay and 'paid the price' (go see... More

Incredible location: a 16th century palace with patio within the medina. Rich food offers with typical Moroccan cuisine and background live music.

Strolled in of the street (they call them derbs here), and had a great three course lunch a la carte. A choice of twelve salads, all very tasty. Main courses were either beef tangia with vegetables or chicken pastilla. We had one of each and shared. Delicious! ! Dessert was a fresh fruit salad, very nice. With a mandatory mint... More
