Impressive setting

Had read the review about badly behaved waiters, so was a little worried, having had a terrible experience the night before at Le Comptoir, So to readers at ease, we arrived with one of our group slightly under-the-weather, and by the time we'd sat down, he really wasn't feeling well. Visited this beautiful restaurant on the recommendation of our concierge at La Sultana Hotel. (See review) We weren't disappionted. Food was really nice, great ambience and a lovely poolside setting. You really can't go wrong with this restaurant which was a welcome break from tangines and cous cous. Also very good value for money.

We came to this restaurant due to the reviews we had read about it. We had an appalling time. All night the waiters were close to having a heated argument and were very badly behaved. We made a complaint to the manager and we were told that they were like it all the time and it had to stop now.... More

I had read the reviews and looked at photos online and on arriving at restaurant, everything was 1st class. The welcome, the service, the food and the surroundings blew us away. The evening couldn't be faulted in any way and it was great value. 4 of us had 2 courses, wine and coffees for 1400 dirhams - c£25 per head... More

This restaurant is located in a trendy area in the New part of town northeast of the train station. Fairly fancy and well appointed location with numerous small dining areas. Some live music, fireplaces and a pool. The food is Italian and moderately priced entrees running about 100-150dh. Alcohol wine and beer are served with a pretty good staff. This... More

We visited la Trattoria last week and were amazed that it had changed very little from our last visit three years ago. The only difference was a new bar area, the food, service and ambiance all were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant.

Our hotel booked this special evening. After cocktails by a roaring fireplace we were taken into the main dining room with a soaring roof over the poor. Our table was in a small private dining room with views of the main room but much warmer. Service was excellent and attentive without being bothersome. All our food courses were amazing and... More

What I loved about this place most was you felt welcomed and treated properly as a paying customer. Many places in Marrakech it felt the reverse - you are privileged to eat at the restaurant and customer service is non-existent, until it's time to ask for the cheque. The waiters were on hand regularly to try to meet your needs,... More

Terrific music, decor and food coupled to make our evening at La Trattoria memorable. A definite must as a break from Tangines!
