The place is so quite with a tradicional atmosphere that make it as out of time. As first they offered as some mussels with some orange flower milk as welcome. Food was ok, my cous cous was great, may be more than our lemon chicken that was ok but not special. The price is in the european media. About 400... More

This is the place for genuine Morrocan food in Marrakech, in particular the pastilla and tanjia which are both home-made and delicious. The restaurant is located in a nice house near Dar Si Said. A friendly gentleman (Abdou) waits for patrons on Riad Zitoun and will guide you upon arrival. Last but not least, despite the quality of the food... More

A very strange place with mediocre food. Food was very average although to be fair the mint tea was very good. Very difficult to find but if you ring them they will sent someone to show you the way. I found the food rather bland

We got our hotel to book us a table for dinner and were hailed by a member of Dar Mima who was waiting for us in the main road and who guided us down the alleyways to the restaurant. We could not have wished for a warmer welcome. Madame was very charming throughout the evening and greeted us with a... More

Take your time, relax, and take your time again.. We went there for our 11 anniversary dinner and nothing would have ever break the magic of our moment, nevertheless, the service received could have done it easily. First of all the restaurant seemed closed, there is a bell on the left side of the door. The woman that I denominated... More

I am quite easily pleased when it comes to food. I generally eat anything, and am certainly not a food snob because I wouldn't know how to be. I've been brought up on traditional British food like curry, chilli, lasagne and Thai green curry, you know - tasty food with spices and variety from around the world. If your like... More

Another simple and too sweet stew with very rough and bad meat.

A bit tricky to find, easiest way is to follow the signs to Dar Si Said and then spot Dar Mima's signboard. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxing. I do not like milk but love the traditional Moroccan welcome of milk with orange flower essence and dates and handrinsing tradition, The food is lovely and the service is great. Tanjia... More

This restaurant is hard to fine but worth the search. Very typical atmosphere with dishes different from the other places like the chicken trid or the milk pastillla. Very good! Dar Mima only opens from 8pm.

We had dinner here on our first night in Marrakesh in June 2011 after reading about it in our Rough Guide. After going down a dark alley and finding a shut door, we weren't too sure what to expect but once inside it's a lovely place. We had Moroccan salad to start and then tangines which were the best we... More
