Order the pastilla. Still having dreams about it - one of the best meals I have ever had. Also the glass of house red is very decent. Tasted one or two other dishes here and they were all excellent. The staff were really really lovely - thoroughly recommended.

Cafe Arabe has fantastic views over the skyline of Marrakech and is a must to watch the sun go down, but that's as far as it goes. The tagines were uninspiring with little flavour and overpriced. On the plus side, the wine was good and reasonably priced. But as a lover of Moroccan cuisine I was sorely disappointed in the... More

Ate there for lunch after a long hot summer morning shopping. Enjoyed cold beers (big props that they brought chilled mugs for the beer – even after we ordered a second one, they brought new chilled glasses), the Moroccan salad (lots of variety, rich flavors), grilled veggies (refreshing after a few days of soupy tagine), and a chicken tagine with... We came here for drinks and appetizers. I didn't even feel like alcohol because it was so bloody hot, so I ordered a pineapple mint something smoothie and it was excellent and refreshing. Not the best food we had in Marrakech, but solid (I can't vouch for the main meals though). The atmosphere is excellent: the rooftop is super peaceful... More

I was on holidays for a week in Morocco, when after a couple of days of just basic (okay tasting) meals, it was time to track down a good restaurant that would serve really good food, wine and alcoholic beverages. Cafe Arabe was recommended to us and I am so glad it was. The location is tucked into the Medina... More

Chose this restaurant based on the recommendation of our travel agent, Heritage Tours, and backed up with Trip Advisor. It is a great place to go on your first night in Marrakech because you have to walk through the medina to get there. Our tour guide walked us there and picked us up. We sat in the open courtyard where... More

We enjoyed our lunch at Cafe Arabe so much that we went back for dinner. It was during Ramadan so places that served alcohol were limited. The pasta was just amazing and so fresh. They mainly serve Italian food, which we had but they also serve Moroccan fare too. The drinks choice was excellent with full range of cocktails as... More

Excellent food, good wine list, pleasant and professional waiters in a nicely lighted and handsome restaurant. One of the best for reasonable prices. I would go back there if I were ever to go to Marrakesh again.

Despite reading some of the reviews about poor service, we found no evidence of this. Waiters were very pleasant, attentive and didn't rush us. Relaxed atmosphere. Nice menu, the best olives and nibbles with drinks... All of these are complimentary! Excellent drinks menu. Clean, cool and busy. Watch a fab sunset from the roof terrace. The best place we found... we struggled to find this place! only came for drinks at about 7 in the evening, which were lovely; the rooftop terrace was lovely and cool! the experience was let down by the service; our waiter was quite honestly rude and seemed disinterested, which spoiled the experience, however other waiters were much happier and pleasant. It did take a while... More
