The food is very good, and the setting is nice. But you don't feel welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is almost colonial, including the way the musicians are seated and treated.

My husband and I are foodies. We are always looking for good places to eat where we can find an overall culinary experience, I did my research for Morocco and pick Tobsil, it couldn't be better! Although we didn't had a reservation they kindly guided us from the street entrance to the restaurant, and the option was only the "feast"... More

The meal, ambiance, decor, service and live entertainment was fantastic. I would have liked to have experienced more spice in the food as I have a feeling it was toned down for tourists. Make sure you come to Le Tobsil hungry as there is so much food given to you including a 14 piece starter and two tagines! Actually, I... More

I visited this restaurant in June 2014 with my wife and grown up children. All aspects of the restaurant - the ambiance, the music (there are a couple of musicians playing in the corner), the setting and the food - were very good. A key point to understand is that this restaurant is upmarket vs many other restaurants in Marrakech.... More

This restaurant was recommended to us so we tried it and were really underwhelmed. There was no menu, no one explained what we would be having and the service is slow. The food is very heavy. We left before the final two courses having payed £40 each for dinner. Not for us and an expensive mistake

We discovered this gem right next door to our Riad when we looked down into the Courtyard from our roof top pool to see tables covered in white linen, scattered with rose petals and adorned with candles. A set menu is served and make sure you are very hungry as if not you won't even be able to make a... More

We spent six amazing nights in Marrakech and on our last night decided to dine here thinking it would be special. It was the most awful, dingy dated place. The service was very average and so was the food. For good food, service and ambience there are so many other places to go to. This was just awful (sorry I... More

Le Tobsil is amazing – very easy to find (I chanced upon it during the day even before we headed there for dinner, when a handy guide was waiting in the street for guests), delightful inside (if hot) and serving supremely delicious food. We were on our honeymoon and it was definitely one of the best meals we ate in... More

Le Tobsil is, in my opinion, the best restaurant I have ever been to , anywhere in the world. Food, ambiance, location etc. absolutely brilliant. You will not be disappointed.

Our first meal in Marrakech. We were travel-weary, feeling a little harassed having negotiated the old town early, and sceptical that we'd ever find the place. Upon getting out of the taxi, we were worried about getting lost but then saw the restaurant's guide who led us down lots of old, winding alleys, past lots of doors to seemingly empty... More
