We found Tobsil by accident and genuinely enjoyed the experience even though we felt we were in late early 80's Bond movie... Food is actually very good. This riad has been restored into one of the most romantic restaurants we have seen. Candlelight all around, scents of spices, and Morrocan musicians in the background made for a special evening, not to mention the excellent food.

We were met on the street by a guide who led us down several winding pink alleys to a door in a wall. The door opened and we were welcomed by Christine and shown into a courtyard where 4 tables were laid and scattered with rose petals. There was no menu. There were no prices. We we're brought course after... More

I would say that it is an interesting, romantic and expensive experience. The set menu seemed quite basic to me...we started with a selection of tapas-style dishes (about 7 in total), which I found quite mixed. The tomato/peppers and aubergines were very good but the rest were nothing special. The chicken main was. That but again nothing over exciting. The... More

We visited Marrakech in April for our son's wedding. We took the wedding party to Le Tobsil for a celebration dinner the night before the wedding. The food was authentic and plentiful. Everyone left full and happy! The musicians were entertaining without being obtrusive and added to the atmosphere and I felt the price was reasonable for what we received.... More

It's a little tricky to find this place but in th evening they have a few guides lurking near the main gate with a "Le Toubsil" badge around their necks & they're genuine staff who will walk you the last 200M through a maze of little alleyways. Ask for a table in the courtyard as it's a great ambience &... More

I was recommended this restaurant by Moroccan friends . Very romantic atmosphere and amazing food, couscous was exceptional . Services was also very good. Don't worry about finding it there is a person that will guide you from the closest Main Street .

Our Riad recommended the Tobsil and we were not disappointed. Dishes are very authentic and plentiful. It's a set menu - no choices but no worries its all excellent. Wine is included and it's quite reasonable nit as others have suggested - its robust house wine and matches the food perfectly. Make sure you are hungary! A guide escorted us... More

Fairly pricey by Marrakech standards but very good and you get a lot of food for your money! It's a set menu and the price includes wine if you want it. We had olives and bread, lots of small plates of various spiced vegetables, tagine chicken with a pancake (sounds odd, tasted fantastic), lamb tagine with beautiful fluffy couscous and... More
