One of my favourite restaurants in the world.

I have been to Le Tobsil 3 times in 6 years, the place is magical. I can't describe how amazing it is to be sitting there, with the music, great food, rose petals. I don't even mind the musicians going round. It's a must do everytime I am in Marrakech. The food is fantastic, and there is a lot... read more

Le Tobsil is a fantastic restaurant with amazing Moroccan cuisine. Set menu only including many courses (I think we had 7) and wine. The service was faultless and the entertainment was good. Really enjoyed our night here. Set in a traditional riad, it's a lovely experience of high-end but authentic Marrakech. The only downside was the restaurant isn't easy to... More

Not a reflection on the restaurant, but was closed tonight. Tripadvisor hours said it was open. Not sure if closed every Friday or restricted to low season so advise checking it is open to avoid disappointment, we were very disappointed as it's our last night in Marrakech tonight. Even our hotel 1 min away (palais sebban) didn't know it was... More

I feel very sorry for your disappointment. Tuesday happens to be "Le Tobsil"s usual day-off. But, as a reservation is mandatory as to find out about availability, by doing it with a simple phone call or asking your hotel concierge to do it, you would have been told that Le Tobsil was closed during a few days for annual maintenance... I had reviewed restaurants in Marrakech before my travels and Le Tobsil was highly suggested within the many articles that I read and I can see why. We took a taxi to one of the Medina gates and just within the gate was a man wearing a traditional white Moroccan garb and he escorted us to the restaurant which we... More

Tobsil is in a lovely Riad tucked away in the medina. A doorman takes you through the windy streets to find it. When you arrive, you enter into a warm, atmospheric courtyard with lovely music and warm lighting and decor. We were looked after beautifully and the food was delicious, especially the Moroccan starters. Very strongly recommend for a couples... More

As many one wrote, the restaurant location is not easy to find. But the guided guys are standing on the street where vehicle can access. The guy has small cards of the restaurant. If you should ask the other guy, it must be problem. The guy may try to bring you other places or get the small guide fee. They... More

Was recommended to this place by the hotel.. The taxi dropped us in front of an alley in the old town and my husband and I felt that the taxi lied at us with the drop off, but then we found a man in white and a badge around his neck walked us towards the restaurant they the old town... More

I took my 16 year old daughter here as a special treat whilst in Marrakech (Saturday 7th November). I have eaten here before & wanted to take my daughter as it is an experience that you should try whilst in Marrakech. Le Tobsil is a 'Tasting Set Menu' dinner rsetaurant offering a Pre-Dinner Aperitif, a 5 course menu (2 of... More

All the wine/beer etc is also included with the price. Take some change for the musicians. The music is Moroccan, and they come round to each table during the evening. a riad houses this... More
