I lived in Marrakech for a year, and Kechmara is a staple. Great food, great service, an oasis in a sometimes chaotic city.
One of the best places to visit in Marrakech, visited twice in our 4 day stay. Food & drinks one night and just drinks on the other night. Managed to watch the Manchester derby & the Real Madrid games (Youssef & the staff looked after this for us, thank you) but its not primarily a sports bar as the Terrace... More
I loved this restaurant, which was such a delight after several distinctly average Moroccan meals in touristy restaurants in the old city. All the food was presented well, delicious and they were generous portions. Great cocktails too and the waitress was nice. We went for dinner relatively early in the evening (I think we were sat down by 8pm) so... More
Have had lunch twice here now. Salads on the first, flute sandwiches on the second. Prompt service, good wine, good food. A lunch haven as far as we are concerned . Don't recognise the negative comments at all.
Love the place, great bistro food and burgers, awesome atmosphere, best terrace to eat in Gueliz (new city). Impossible to avoid, unless your a 100 or just a tourist who want's to see only fake Morocco tradition stuff. The owners are a lovely couple, guys from toulouse with a super sense for decoration. Perfect for a drink before heavy partying,... More
Ate at Kechmara for lunch and then tapas/wine in the evening - I love it: it's fun, lively, contemporary - also very fast wifi! - good food.
I was really disappointed. The fries came with very bad smell. And when we told the chef he did not care at all. If you are a burger fan you will not like it.
We went here twice and both times the service was very slow. We had to go up to the till to pay. All the staff seemed to go for their dinner break at about 6.30pm. The security guard then got one of the staff to take the bill. We did notice however that service in Marrakech wasn't exactly prompt. Good... More
By far the best place in town. Caters for all. Quick coffee or nice dinner. Good service, no hassle, and popular locally. A real gem. Starters and Desserts 50dh, Burger 110dh, cafe 20dh, decent prices.
We decided we needed some relief from tagines, and kebabs. Not that they are not lovely, but we just fancied a bit of western comfort food. Hence we found our way here. It was a chilly evening, but not for us Brits, so the upstairs bar was empty, and the downstairs indoors was rammed, with a DJ playing some relaxing... More
