Food and service outstanding.

I have already favorably reviewed this hotel as we stayed here for three days. All meals including the welcome treats and mint tear were terrific, very fresh, bright flavours, amazing variety and the service staff were superb. Drinks at the bar were also very good.

This restaurant was okay, but the most thrilling thing about it was that it had working air-conditioning in the heat of July. The food was adequate but rather overpriced. And you certainly seemed separated from the hustle-bustle of Fes (The restaurant is located in a hotel just outside the gates of the medina.) If you are thinking of eating here,... More

Our group of three ate one dinner and two breakfasts in the restaurant. Much more than a hotel restaurant, the Palais Faraj provided a welcome respite from the activity in the Fez medina. On top of that, the food was some of the best Moroccan food we ate on our trip. For dinner, I started with a traditional soup and... More

We had dinner here 4 nights out of the 5 we spent in Fes. Besides the spectacular sunset view over the old medina, the restaurant delivered very well in terms of both service and food. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and with a good sense of humor. The food was excellent; we had items from both the Moroccan and... More

The quality of the food for Iftar coupled with the friendliness of the staff made for an amazing evening. The view was really nice and the variety of food on offer for Iftar was impressive.

We choose the salads and birouates. Then chicken tajine and veal tajine. It was simply perfect. It is expensive but in my opinion it worth the price. But don't expect a local experience : only tourists in such a place.

We found the staff well trained and friendly and the views are superb. We stayed at the hotel so we ate here a few times over ten days, including a very special birthday dinner. We ate from both the Moroccan menu and the International menu, which has a flavour of Morocco anyway. My husband eats meat and I eat fish... More

The restaurant is at the highest level but for example nobody come to us to takes care of your coat (unnecessary option for us in general but not for a restaurant that claims to be the best of Fes). We took a typical Moroccan soup (Harring) and a velvety vegetable, decent but nothing specia. What really surprised me was ordered... More
