Low Key Baby Friendly Italian Resto

Food was very delicious, tried the Raviolis Aubergine and the Escalope de Veau Milanaise. Service was decent. Might have been a coincidence (it was almost empty when we went) but there was no smoking inside! (* Baby-friendliness: they have high chairs for babies!!! Not that common so I was very... read more

We ate at L'Italien on a recent visit to Fes. We had enjoyed local Moroccan food over several days, and were looking for something different for a night. The waiter brought me an incorrect salad. We both had pizzas, one with ham and arugula and one plain (Margarite). The former was fairly tasty, but the plainer pizza was very bland,... More

Like other reviews have said, this restaurant is a bit far out, but it's a great change of pace from the medina, and a welcome change of cuisine. The prices are very reasonable, and the food was delicious with generous portions. If you're a fan of lemon, get the lemon tart for dessert - rich and intense lemon flavor balanced... More

This efficient, stylish Italian restaurant is a new (2015) addition to the eateries of Fès. Located in a new, nondescript neighbourhood of low-rise appartment blocks on the west side of the Ville nouvelle, it is not yet well known to taxi drivers. Ask for Champ de course, the name of the area based on the fact that there was once... More

Yes this place is hard to find and way out of the medina if you are staying there but well worth the badgering of the Petit Taxi driver. When you need a pizza you need a pizza and their oven is perfect even if they add a little bit too much mozzarella. The fabulous decor and spaciousness is another aspect... More

I live in the Medina, and after a few days of tagines and couscous, a good pizza feels wonderful!! L'Italien is way out in the new city by the old racing tracks. The restaurant it self is quite nice, NY style dinning room (think Dean & Deluca), but the location is somewhat disconcerting as the restaurant sits between buildings in... More

I have visited this restaurant on more than one occasion already but never had a pizza. The reatsurant has a pleasantly modern décor, although at this time of year without heating a little chilly. This time I opted for a cheese pizza, but it came without any Gorgonzola and with only 3 finger--nail sized pieces of goat's cheese. When I... More

After 6 days straight of Moroccan food (which I love) the family felt like something 'western' and this place fitted the bill. Food was quite good (we only had pizza) and it was great to see your pizza being made fresh by the chef and cooked in a wood fire oven. Price wise it was also good value. Service was... More

Sometimes it's nice to venture out of the Medina to the New City, and this little slice of Italy is the place to go. It can be a bit hit & miss depending on your order, but the salad with basil pesto, mozzarella and fresh tomatoes and the vegetarian pizza were like eating in Italy!! It is exceptionally well priced,... More
