great place to chill

Excellent coffee, relaxing atmosphere. Seems a hangout for wealthy young Morrocans. Good ambience. Friendly staff and you can choose the music.

Love the youthful underground vibe and awesome live Moroccan music they had the night we were here. Great decor. The music and seeing people enjoy it and sing and clap along was probably my favorite experience of Fes.

I stumbled blindly into this cafe and was I glad I did! I was there for a mint tea and to recover from the busy-ness of the medina. The owner told me about a music event happening in the cafe later on that day. I figured I might as well return since I am a big fan of Gnawa music.... More

We dropped in for a quick snack but it was perfect. Moroccan salads, of which you get six well prepared, delicious ones, Moroccan pastries all almond based and equally delicious, excellent mint tea in teapots, and coffee. The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful, we loved the subdued light and the decor.

We went here for lunch. They have a really nice, covered terrace, but the paninis they served were quite tasteless. It is really cheap though, so if you just want to fill your stomach on your way through the medina it's ok.

This place is large, with multiple rooms, filled with ugly ornate old furniture and cigarette smoke. Not too clean. Food and drink options are extremely limited, and service is apathetic. Don't waste your time.

You're looking for a place to eat don't go here. We ate on the roof terrace which is being redone but I had absolutely no charm and a negligent waitress. The menu is limited. Moroccan salad was generous and tasty but the tajines bland and uninteresting.

We visited this place on a Tuesday and there was a terrific party going on. I would have stayed but there was too much smoke and had to leave. The day after we visited it for dinner, we weren't very hungry but the owner, a very nice man who spoke spanish perfectly, said we could split one of his small... More

Being with a group of friends on a study Tour, visiting Barcelona Cafe opened my eyes to the young moroccan life that I never expected. While loud music plays, adolescents dance and go wild even without the presence of alcohol. Locals in the cafe are so inviting and acknowledge foreigners who come to visit. In my experience, I was dragged... More

We came to this place for coffee and ended up staying to listen to some traditional Moroccan music. The atmosphere was incredible and we couldn't have felt more welcome from the people there. We danced, and got an amazing experience. Definitely check it out !!
