The Fez Café is a charming Moroccan bistro set at the edge of our vast garden and topped by an immense rooftop terrace - perfect for a dinner under the stars. Under the careful guidance of Michel Biehn himself, a Provencal food connoisseur with three award-winning cook books to his name, our chef at the Fez Cafe crafts a market-fresh menu every day which draws its flavours from the Morocan tradition, the East, and the home-grown organic vegetables from our own garden. We only use fresh seasonal ingredients. Our bar and Foosball table help make it a fun Medina meeting place. Open everyday for lunch, and dinner. Michel Biehn is the author of several award-winning cookbooks published in France, Europe and the United States. For a few hours or a few days, Michel Biehn, aided by his wonderful Chef Hicham, the head chef of the FEZ CAFE, will be happy to share with their guests, their oriental recipies and secrets of Moroccan cuisine. The cooking class starts by shopping on the market with Si Mohamed, followed by the actual cooking of the selected recipies with both Michel and Hicham. Then, it will be time to enjoy the prepared meal. Price:80 € per person.

Great garden dining experience

Nothing to fault from our lunch here. Absolutely delightful al fresco dining experience in the fabulous gardens of a former Pasha's palace. Good, simple food and excellent service. Best tasting meal we had in Fes. Nice break from big Moroccan meals if you want. Beautiful, serene, romantic atmosphere.

Set in a lovely and big garden, this restaurant serves authentic and mediteranean dishes. They serve a three course meal for 350 dhr, which is expensive for Morocco, but I felt it was worth it. You can choose between 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts. The chef is also a patissier, so delicious desserts are garanteed! Wines are on... More

We were staying in this riad and ate there on our first night. It was definitely the best meal of our trip. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. They are also licenced to sell alcohol and serve cocktails in the early evening followed by wine or beer with your meal.

Away from all the hustle a bustle but still in the medina. Set in a lovely garden. Lovely food, small menu, Which you can pick 3 courses or select courses from. Wine and beer available. Booking advisable.

You step into a little magical oasis when you go to this truly lovely restaurant off the main drag in the medinah. Everything was wonderful from the food to the ambience to the service to the price Do not miss it!

Had dinner here with 4 friends, most of us had 2 courses, I had 3. Food was all quite nice, but not as special as the prices would suggest. Mostly French cuisine (there is a Moroccan menu as well, but the French dishes just sounded more attractive to me). Nice wine list, although the high prices kept me from venturing... More

This is one of our favourite lunch spots in the medina. The garden setting and the casual bistro style make it a relaxing setting for a lazy lunch with friends. The small menu is always fresh and they do wonderful soups and salads. If you couple a lunch here with a hammam treatment at the spa next door, it's a... More

We went here our second night in Fes for dinner and comparable other places in Morocco, the food is overpriced with a fairly limited French or Moroccan menu. The garden is pretty and they do serve wine and beer. Might be a better choice for lunch. We went to Dar Roumana our third night which felt very upscale and had... More

The gardens are a relaxing place to eat lunch or dinner. I often take my groups there and it is always enjoyable if a little expensive compared to other places.
