What can I say? Wonderful Owner and amazingly gracious staff - they operate like a family. Very attentive but not bothersome in any way. Great experience dining in with authentic food. The rooms were incredibly clean and beds very comfortable. The whole places casts a spell of old world service and gracious generosity. Not snobby at all, the right kind... More

Our first night (after 30 hrs flying and commuting airports) we dined at the Laaroussa, in its lovely terrace in the top. There is a fixed menu priced at 25 euro per person. It included 4 very tasteful appetizers/salads (see picture), and a tagine with lamb, gumbo and okra that was outstanding, especially for the vegetables cooked to perfection. A... More

I only visted the hammam here - but what a treat! I went back several times. The riad is charmingly restored and decorated.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. We were given the "blue room", upstairs. While it was a steep walk up the stairs, the sitting area and location to the terrace were great. The room was large and bathroom was huge! The breakfast we had was enormous and delicious, as was the tangine dinner we enjoyed there. What... More

My sister and I stayed the Riad and ate there both nights of our visit. Loved the food. We had vegetable pastilla the first night which was so good. The next night we had Vegetable Tagine - fantastic. They made it special for us because my sister is vegetarian. The service was perfect. Everyone was so friendly.

We ate twice at this restaurant, once in the gardens and the second time up on the terrace. We at typical moroccan food here, the cuisine was excellent and the ingredients were fresh. Everything was served in elegant dishes making the meal extra special. One evening we ate these fantastic starters of puree vegetables, they were delicious, I may just... More

This was our first Riad stay, and it left us feeling great. The hospitality of staff was great - very friendly and willing to chat. It seemed like they spent alot of time in making us feel welcome. The Riad is in the Medina, which makes it easier to be close to the hustle and bustle of the city. They... More

Riad Laaroussa has a great mix of family feeling and nice and sophisticated ambiance. The restaurant has a good imprinting ans the maroccan food is good and in a way simple. The atmosphere is very pleasant and friendly with very kind personnel. We had dinner on the terrace which has quite a view on the city of Fez and the... More

We didn´t actually stay at this Riad - we just had the misfortune to eat there. Having read other reviews we were really looking forward to eating here. The setting of our table in the enclosed courtyard was lovely. However the lighting (a candle which kept going out) meant that we couldn´t see what we were eating. We were not... More
