Wonderful dining in Fez

A beautiful restaurant in an ancient house. The tajine and pastille were exceptional and the host family were warm and welcoming. The ceiling in the dining room, done by a family member is worthy of a place in a top museum. Don't miss this gem in Fez.

Great hospitality, run by a familly who transformed their house into a lovely restaurant, this place is lovely. Everything was excellent and delicious, fresh and tasty. Not prententious at all. I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed this experience. A gentleman from the restaurant met us at our riad and walked to us the restaurant (thank goodness because it is SO easy to get lost in Fes). Upon walking inside, we saw how beautiful it is. The family turned their riad into a restaurant and it's just gorgeous inside. The couple was very friendly... More

It's a beautiful restaurant but for the price of what you get, it is definitely overpriced and a tourist trap. Food was okay but we wouldn't return.

Run by a family (which actually lives in the first floor) this restaurant offers you all that you expect from the Moroccan cuisine. We went for the tapas style menu as a starter where you can have a bit of everything, most of the dishes were excellent (some were a bit cold but still tasty). The mains were fantastic, definitely... We had a fantastic meal here. Very friendly service and we were made to feel welcome. The lamb tangine was the best we have had of our 3 weeks in Morocco which says a lot. Everything was authentic and tasty. Definitely worth a visit and good value for the quality of food.

Was very impressed by their service and hospitality. The owner came to pick us up and drop us back to our Riad while his wife works as a server and his mom in the kitchen. The whole family work so hard to welcome their guests in their beautiful heritage huge home. The set menu comes with a selections of small... More

We headed to the restaurant on our first night in Fes. We had just arrived after a long drive from the south of Morocco. The owner greater us and was quite friendly when explaining the menu of 4 options. There were 4 of us and we were more tired than hungry so we decided to split 2 meals. When we... More

We came here by accident thanks to a misunderstanding about a reservation elsewhere, and it was the happiest accident ever! Only 4-6 tables, and a menu with 3-4 choices (all traditional Moroccan style cuisine). Moroccan meals mean you start with a "cooked salad" option -- basically mezze plates that were absolutely delicious -- and then have a main course --... More
