Lovely setting, wonderful food!

I was traveling with a group of women and we were taken to Dar Hatim for dinner. We had lots of offerings end enjoyed every bite. It was special for sure. I loved the location, walking down winding, narrow paths in the medina to get there. Truly a special evening and lovely hosts.

Our family had a wonderful dinner here - great ambience, great service, really delicious food. We had eaten at many places in Fes, and this was definitely one of the best, and the family was so hospitable, showing around the place, and always with such warm smiles.

and overpriced for its quality. The host is a very nice lady who cooks with her mother-in-law. She offered us at the highest rate lamb dish that she only cooks "once a year" in Eid but happened to have cooked that day that wasn't Eid. We didn't like this way of manipulating customers to choose a dish that wasn't great... More

My favorite place in Fes. I have come often to Dar Hatim over the past 5 years with travellers, and will always return, as long as I am going to Fes. A warm, always welcoming family who always accommodate my groups. It is usually a highlight for everyone. Food is home cooked and superb - consistently so - hospitality is... More

After arriving by plane in Fes our guide Said took us to lunch at a most amazing place .Believe me if you did not know it was there, you would not know it was there. We were met on the road by a very nice gentlemen, the owner. We were then taken through a maze of alleys, I began to... More

As a group of two couples this was our first meal in Fes following a two day, snow filled adventure, through the high Atlas mountains from the Merzouga desert. After wondering if we would ever make it to this Festastic city we were thrilled to get here. Our delight was only further compounded by experiencing the delicious home-cooked cuisine at... More

Such a lovely experience, the restaurant is located in the family home. Extremely welcoming. The family is very friendly. Difficult to find but inside the medina, but they will pick you up and take you back at no charge. The food was excellent and very very filling, generous portions! True Moroccan food and experience. Vegetarian options also available and accommodating.

Dar Hatim is a family owned restaurant that was recommended to us by our hotel management. The son of the family graciously taxied us from our hotel to the restaurant and back. Thinking on its location, I don't think I would have found the place on my own at night. The things I liked about Dar Hatim: 1. Good hospitality... More
