Best meal I had in Morocco!

This place was seriously the best meal I had in Morocco. My group traveled all over the country, but I kept going back to the flavors of this place, in particular the pigeon pie. The long walk to the restaurant was definitely a little unexpected. But once we opened the doors and walked into the... read more

the manager of my riad recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Family run restaurant with amazing food, amazing hosts who are very friendly and personable, in a very ornately decorated house. make sure to look up - the ceilings have pretty incredible craftsmanship.

This was the best dining during our two weeks in Morocco. The menu is limited, and reservations are required, but that's because they really do make it all right there. Expect only the freshest and finely presented food in exquisite surroundings. The tapestries and ceiling woodwork alone are a reason to go. Also, this was the only place I found... More

Yesterday we had dinner in a real piece of art This restaurant really looks incredibly smart We spent a day in the old medina and thought we had seen it all But this restaurant was beauty from wall to wall And the owners almost made us feel like family The atmosphere in there is as cosy as can be So... Karima and Fouad are the nicest couple ever. We joined them for dinner this evening. The food was perfectly executed with a freshness that only comes from someone who cares about what they are sharing with those lucky enough to come across their beautiful home. Everything started delicious and then, an I-just-tasted-heaven-moment came from the pigeon pastilla. Karima's speciality. My... More

Wonderful food served at home setting. A great variety of salads and delicious tagines. Fouad came and got us from the Riad (Laaroussa) and also took us back so no issue with having to find the place in the middle of the Medina.

Our guide took us to this restaurant for lunch whilst on a tour of the Fez medina. The restaurant is in a restored building that was once a house of a wealthy family. My wife and I are not used to eating large mid-day meals, especially with the large breakfasts served at the riad where we were staying in Fez.... More

I'm surprised by the few negative reviews. We found this Riad-set restaurant to be charming, relaxing and truly authentic. The first course of the cooked veggies on the fixed-price menu was ample, varied and tasty and the main course of the chicken pie was equally good. The cook was proud of the dishes she prepared and rightfully so. We would... More

We were very disappointed with our meals. Once you have been dropped here you can't just wander somewhere else, you will get lost- it's a trap. Set menu starting at 120 dirhams + drinks on top. Hotels and tourist groups get commission from sending their guests here,so they will push this restaurant to you. The food was bland, beans/lentils out... More
