Great food, varying service.

Ate here twice at the recommendation of friends. Location is a stone's throw from Bab Bou Jloud, right in the middle of a whole throng of mostly tourist restaurants. This place is also touristy, but that's ok if they serve good food, which they do. My tagine with meat and plums and sweet onions was... read more

We eat here our lunch - we order the set menu, which was very good. The ambient is also very nice, you are in the centre of the medina, but you are away of the crowd.

This has to be the worst service I have ever had in my entire life. The drinks were served without glasses, which came 15minutes later. We had to wait for ages before we could even ask to have some tea. The guy who talked us in to the restaurant was way too busy talking on his phone or with his... More

Thami's can be found just round the corner from the famous Bab Boujloud. From the outset the restaurant is decoratively pretty simple inside and outside and offers the same tagine/couscous affair which is to be expected at other restaurants. In terms of quality, the food is just slightly above the average offering in Fes. What puts it ahead of other... More

We visited Thami's in January 2015 and had a lovely tasty meal off their standard menus. At the corner of two busy Fes lanes and a wonderful place to people watch. Thami, himself, is an absolute character and his small restaurant was full even on a cold January evening. Definitely worth visiting as service and meal was good

This place was recommended by our hosts in Riad. It has great location and ideal for people watching and to feel the vibe of old Medina in Fes. Service was good. The food was ok, nothing spectacular but still very tasty. They offer traditional Moroccan food. Maybe a bit overrated and overpriced for what it offers.

The restaurant comes highly recommended and we went there for dinner . It has a good location, close to the Bab Boujloud gate and it's great for people watching. The service was good, but the food was a bit 'hit and miss' - hit for the meatball tagine, miss for the chicken couscous as the chicken was so tough, I... More

After travelling around the country I can definitely say that Fes has the best food of Morocco and the best place was here!!! all delicious and fresh, best tajine kefta!!! the waiter was also so funny and spent all week stopping us and telling us that the restaurant is number one on Tripadvisor, well it is certainly true! Prices low... More
