This place was recommended by our hosts in Riad. It has great location and ideal for people watching and to feel the vibe of old Medina in Fes. Service was good. The food was ok, nothing spectacular but still very tasty. They offer traditional Moroccan food. Maybe a bit overrated and overpriced for what it offers.

The restaurant comes highly recommended and we went there for dinner . It has a good location, close to the Bab Boujloud gate and it's great for people watching. The service was good, but the food was a bit 'hit and miss' - hit for the meatball tagine, miss for the chicken couscous as the chicken was so tough, I... More

After travelling around the country I can definitely say that Fes has the best food of Morocco and the best place was here!!! all delicious and fresh, best tajine kefta!!! the waiter was also so funny and spent all week stopping us and telling us that the restaurant is number one on Tripadvisor, well it is certainly true! Prices low... More

Our Riad marked this place on the map they gave us. It was a great spot for lunch. We had a kefta (meatballs) with egg tagine and vegetarian couscous, both were good, they also gave us some free small appitizers. Prices were cheapish and the outside tables are a good spot for watching all the medina passing by.

Just average! Free starters are good but limited menu. Veggie option like school dinner. Location central. Average prices.

Literally, we went there 3 times. The first time it was delicious and with a great service! The second time, we waited for our food for quite some time, and it was normal. And the 3th time, it was sort of sad. You could tell that the food was from yesterday (hard bread, rusty salad) and he was sleeping in... More

Not only a great cook but an incredible oracle and guide to Fez. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have met this incredible knowledgable Moroccan. We will return. Inshallah .

He's very nice, he cooks good food, nothing amazing but cheap, good and in a good location. We went in low season so not many clients and he was specially attentive.

The owner was tickled pink to show us the brand-new back half of his outdoor cafe. Although old Moroccan hands with whom we shared lunch said that inflation had hit Thami's, the five of us were indeed well fed for a reasonable 245dh (about $25US). We had vegetable tagine, chicken brochettes, mixed brochettes, lamb couscous with prunes, and a fifth... More

The great reviews of lonely planet and tripadvisor made Thami a bit overconfident I guess. He is just showing off the good reviews of the recent past instead of cooking good food in the kitchen. Victim of his own succes..
