Beautiful setting, excellent service, superb food

I stayed at the raid for a few days and normally don't eat where I stay as I like to try out different things. But due to incessant rain I stayed in and took dinner at the restaurant. What an excellent experience. The menu is 400Dirhams for a 3 course meal including non-alcoholic drinks (about... read more

Amazing food, great staff and exceptional set-up. We have apprciated every moment spent in this incredible palace. The food is excellent with a very refined menu full of typical and original morroccan dishes. The gastronomical restaurant in the middle of the garden is a piece of art reflecting the best of andalusian culture. We loved the staff which was exceptional... More

Dear all: After my PhD defense, i wanted to make a dinner party for my PhD committee and close relatives. Accordingly, I went to Riad Shehrazad where i met its owner called Pr. B***. We agreed upon the following: a dinner for 12 adults that consists of: - Cocktails of reception. - Entry salads. - Tajine of Trid that consists... More

We have enjoyed a fantastic evening in this amazing restaurant. It is the best morroccan food we have ever tasted. Both classic dishes and inventive ones were delicious. The moroccan salads were very fresh; original and tasty, The lamb tagine is a delight... The classic couscous is perfect ! We loved the music and mostly the decoration of this stunning... More

The setting is just mervelous with the U shaped palace extremely well restored to its glorious past and towering a beautifull patio, garden and swimming pool. We had a dinner my wife and I and loved the setting as well as the delicious food. I saw some of the preceeding poor ratings we totally disagree with. Service may be indeed... More

Stopped to have lunch here in desperation after spending an hour trying to find a restaurant with a higher rating on Tripadvisor. The Riad is visually very impressive, and the staff are welcoming and attentive. However, the menu is limited and seriously overpriced. We just wanted a light lunch and the cheapest Entree was 140dh (€14). I would consider that... More

The place itself is incredible. It's right in the middle of the medina, yet once you're inside, the spacious garden with palm trees and a pool offers an amazing oasis. The whole building around the garden makes it look like a 1001 nights palace. The menu is not very original, but the food is very nicely made - and although... More
