The menu consists of a basic three course meal, not much variation on it. You can have salad or soup for the starter and a choice of different tangines for the main meal followed by some fruit and Moroccan sweets for dessert. The place was comfortable for families and staff are welcoming and friendly. Nothing to sing and dance about.

Very different from the places that hustle tourists near the blue Bab or on the main drags, this place truly feels like where the locals go. We NEVER would have found it but for our tour guide who took us here because it was one of his favorite places. Food was some of the best in Morocco. Spicy - finally!... More

We went to this restaurant twice due to heavy rain when we first arrived in Fez. Our Riad had a deal with the restaurant that one of the members of staff will come and collect you, lead you to the restaurant and then take you home. Which is great because we never would have found it alone. Both times we... More

Very plentiful with many dishes, well priced. Wasn't stellar but just fine. Nice sofas to sit on, nice atmosphere.

My first night eating here I had the Kefta and Egg tagine, and it was really, really good. Then the second night I had the lamb and prune tagine and it was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The combination of the generous portions of really good stewed lamb that is very very tender, with the well... More

When we stayed in Fes for some days, this restaurant was our option for dinner. It was our Riad tip, and we really enjoyed. The typical decoration, warming and cosy place. The staff is friendly and the food was delicious! The price was value for money and the dishes were really big

We are twice at this very friendly family-run restaurant. The chicken almond tagine and the lamb kebab dishes are excellent. Mohamed, the son, picked us up from our riad and sent us back on both occasions. We enjoyed our conversations with him very much - a real insight into Moroccan life.

I absolutely loved the food here. I got the Moroccan salads to begin (tomato dish, eggplant dish, and beans), which were all excellent, and then the chicken tajine with almonds that was perfectly cooked and so delicious. The pastries and fruit were nothing special, but by the time I got to that point, I was stuffed anyways! All of this... More
