This is a great restaurant. The food is delicious. The owner is very cordial. The workers are very nice as well. There are a lot of choice in the menu, from authentic Moroccan dishes like tagine, couscous and Pastilla to international dishes. We have been in Morocco for ten days, and we have been coming here every day. What an... More

The menu offered both traditional Moroccan and French dishes. Lamb tagine with prunes was delicious. Portions are quite large. Service was efficient and friendly. A selection of good Moroccan wines is available - some in half bottle size.

There's not a huge amount of choice in Fez so we went to Zagora. It's well of the beaten track and somewhat old fashioned - but that is part of its charm. Service was very good (the best we got anywhere in Fez) and the food was very tasty. We both had the tagine which was delicious but if you... More

We had the lamb tagine and the brochette de veau recommended by the tour book. The lamb tagine with prunes was very good, unfortunately the pieces of lamb where more bone than meat. The veal skrewers with coucous nothing to brag about. We broke down and purchased a bottle of local wine that we later found at a store to... More

Went on a review in our guide book. Very dated inside.... if you like 1980's it's cool. Food wise? nothing special, it was good, but that's it. Service, bit touch n go, not very attentive. Being Canadian, we are used to non smoking restaurants, not the case here, so go early and you may be lucky to be relatively smoke... More

We were looking forward to a nice meal in a typical Moroccan Restaurant but were ill prepared for this dining hall for bus tourists. We can easily see the attraction for mass tourism as the menu features international staples like spaghetti bolognese besides some well known Moroccan dishes that tasted ok but were served without any thought given to food... This was probably our favorite of the recommended restaurants. We could order ala carte, which was great, because a typical Moroccan meal is way way to much food. I had an excellent avocado and apple salad, with a white fish entree, my boyfriend ordered lamb, perfectly cooked. They have a good wine list, staff that speak French and English, and... More

We went to Zagora after a local crook named Khut Khut (if you come across him in Fes by the train station, beware) suggested we go there. The ambiance was really nice and it was nice to see other tourist eating there along with locals. We only ordered a fried cheese dish as we are vegetarians. It was a delicious... More

We asked our tour manager to recommend a local restaurant and this was his suggestion. Food was good but décor is a little dated but nice. They had a 3 piece band playing in the background when we were there. Nice as this was the only place on our tour that had a band. Service was excellent, prices very reasonable.... More
