Great food and sheesha. We had pasta and cous cous and being vegetarians, were worried about the food. The staff put aside all our doubts and made some excellent food. Truly soul food, the pasta with tomato sauce was fresh and incredible. We asked for more helpings of sauce which was gladly provided. Excellent meal and place. Do visit if... More

Great food prepared by the mother of the owner. The soups, appetizers, desserts, everything was fresh and tasty. We were led here by a tout, but it was worth it.

Great food , good service by restaurant owner . The place was empty when we went and is some what way off from where we were staying . But the food more than made up for it . Harira soup , chicken pastilla , briouates cheese and meat and couscous was superb .

Came 4 years previously and had a memory of good music and a relaxed atmosphere in the area, this time we were met with an empty restaurant which was a little rough round the edges. Tables were very wobbly and hadn't been cleaned properly. The food came and I had the meat and egg tagine, it was tasty and had... More

Yes, the Fez Lounge looks hip, the sort of restaurant you might pop into in a smart part of London or Paris. This is the triumph of restaurant's marketing department. It's a pity the kitchen department didn't play along. I ate in this restaurant the last day of June and was the only customer. I chose a chicken tajine, which... More

This is a good place to get salads and a break from the many tagine and meat dishes. I tried the friend cheese "spring rolls", a goat cheese and fresh tomato salad and the tabbouleh. More importantly though, the people here were very kind and went out of their way for me. Highly recommend it. It was pretty expensive for... More

My son and I looked for a place that served smaller dishes than the usual tajines etc. and came across this small place that advertised tapas. It was not exactly Spanish tapas, what would a tapas place be without Jamon Iberico! However, the food was rather good and the portions were tapas size. I can see that some reviewers consider... While visiting Fez with my family, we stopped for lunch at Fez Lounge. We ordered the daily tagine, moroccan salads, and the burger, with citronade for drink. All was tasty, especially the aubergine salad and the tagine which was very flavourful.

I came in Fez Lounge by chance, not knowing much about the place. It is a nice alternative to the traditional riads of the medina. I ordered chicken pastilla which was exquisite. The milk shake was rather chocolate milk. The music played in the Lounge was very pleasant and so was the service. Clean bathrooms, fair prices, good coincidence.

I stopped in here for lunch based on the Lonely Planet positive review. I agree that the decor is a hip modern contrast to the typical restaurants in Fes. This place also has alcoholic beer for those who need/want it. I ordered harira, the ''national soup" of Morocco. While tasty, the small serving of soup was hardly worth 50 dirhams,... More
