Cozy betwixt the medinas

This modern trendy bar with light fare (you could have dinner here) is located on the street between the two medinas of Fes: Fes El Bali and Fes El Jdid across the street from the lovely Jnan Sbil gardens (the location on the map here is not correct- while their address is Kasbat Chams, the easiest... read more

We found this place after visiting the Jardin Jnan Sbil - it's very close by. It has a modern vibe built in an old building, as well as a great rooftop. We just had a few things for lunch - I remember the meat and cheese cigars being really delicious. They also have free WiFi, which is great. Definitely recommended.

It's trendy, sure but Mezzanine makes a great spot for a break from the summer heat of Fes. The proprietor served us our food and drinks with enthusiastic conversation and sincere questions about our travelling. Their killer mojitos and a delicious pastilla will bring me back here.

Such a great place. I was alone in Fes and spent a number of evenings here, excellent friendly and professional staff, reasonably priced drinks and although I'm vegetarian, managed to eat some excellent food. For anybody that would like a really chilled out club/bar with really great food, either for a quick snack and drink (alcoholic or a soft drink... More

We just got back from a few days in Fez. We stayed in the Medina and wanted to experience that traditional Moroccan setting....fabulous - but even we needed a break from the hustle and bustle. We highly recommend having a drink or bite to eat at Mezzanine. It's easy to find, has an extensive selection of libations and compared to... More

I am originaly from Fez and I used to go to Mezzanine from time to time. It was a little bit dark inside with a so so service. This summer, and to my surprise, everything changed! The decoration was bright and cheerful, the roof is ten times better, and I loved the service! I was welcomed by a british or... More

Went here for a drink. Interior is on the first and second floor very sterile, for a modern design place it lacked some atmosphere. Rooftop is very nicely designed. Beer and wine at 50 dirham.

Gorgeous place, very young and open-minded, great service. You can drink alocohol without earning a judgemental look. Apparently it was renovated recently. I cannot comment on the former look, but the new style is very cool and clean. They played Western music. We had tapas and salad, which where both nice, though the salad/tabouleh was a bit sour from too... More

Gorgeous and welcoming place, great for sundowners and after dinner drinks. The staff are extremely polite and friendly, the mojitos large and delicious, the food extremely well presented and tasty! The bar/lounge has been recently refurbished from top to bottom and it shows! Great attention to detail in every corner in a cool modern yet warm and welcoming setting in... More

We arrived at the mezzanine and was very shocked to be greeted by an English lady who was very welcoming, as were the rest of the staff. The staff went out of their way to keep the drinks coming and assisted us with the chicha. The food was nice we both tried the salads, the cous cous one was amazing.... More
