was in Casablanca on my own as a single white female and after walking around for several hours and looking at sights etc, it was a relief to find Rick's and be able to get nice food and alcohol. It was Ramadan so my own fault for travelling at that time but Rick's certainly made my trip easier and I... More

Mid-day meal at the infamous Rick's Cafe in Casablanca Morocco was included as part of a 4-hour shore excursion visiting several other highlights of Casablanca (old city, olive market, mosque, spice market, residential neighborhoods.) The meal was really niceand tasted great! There was a lovely fig and goat cheese salad with balsamic dressing, followed by a wonderful fish entree, and... More

The elegant pianist, subdued lighting and romantic Moroccan architectural features are a stage design for a delightful evening out. They are celebrating their 10th anniversary - and because they deliver service and ambiance that is deceivingly uncontrived, they are sure to keep pleasing their patrons. Ramadan dining can be hit and miss - but not so at Rick's café. The... More

A qualifier-- despite Morocco's most populated city, there's not a lot else to see in Casablanca. If you're a fan of the movie, a must see. The place is pretty true to the movie except that it is on the seafront and not at the airport. Since this is Rick's Americain Cafe, there are lots of American style dishes. We... More

It was hard to find it but once we did it was beautiful experience. We came with the cruiser to Casablanca and the city itself was a bit of disappointment. From outside it doesn't look much, just nice white building with 'Riclk's cafe' sign, but once you enter you will felt like you enter the movie. We only stayed for... More

From the welcoming smiling staff to the real Moroccan ambiance with European touches. It will remind you with the legend movie "Casablanca" with the romance in the air everywhere. The food was really nice and tasty starting from the appetizer and salad with the delicious olives filled bread to the main course of sword fish and tasty yummy dessert chocolate... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by everyone so we had to try it. As soon as we walked it, we knew we were in for a treat. The restaurant is housed in a beautifully decorated Moroccan style with a fully stocked bar. Playing 40's music made it feel like stepping back in time. The waiters were very attentive and... More

This restaurant/bar appears to be full of history - from the film Casablanca - but there never was a 'Ricks Cafe' until around 10 years ago. The ambience and decoration seems to be taken from the film as indeed it was by owner Kathy Kriger. When you enter the restaurant you are welcomed by a well presented doorman and then... More

The restaurant is reminiscent of it's namesake from the Bogart movie. Food is both traditional and western. Staff are very polite and impeccably dressed. Nice atmosphere. I loved it, even just as a "touristy" thing to do.

Last night I had the pleasure of dinning at Rick's Cafe in Casablanca. I was told that it was nice & similar in theme to the one im the movie. I arrived & was ushered inside by the staff to a table. Brought the menu which was in English & selected the fillet mignon medium rare with pepper sauce &... More
