Hidden in old Casablanca, this place delivers the goods in terms of ambience and fun. The decoration is traditional without being kitchy and the wine list quite affordable. Staff knows what they're doing and it's fun to just sit upstairs at the bar and have a conversation with some friends.

Upon walking through the entrance Portal, you will experience a time gone by... Both in the elegant styling, and the attentive Service. NOTE... You probably will be charged for the Service, even for a party of 2, which relieves you of trying to place an appropriate value to the experience. The food is also quite delectable...

If you're in Casablanca, you have to visit this place, come on. Great food (lamb tagine!) and just an overall cool experience. Not touristy-kitschy at all.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here with 14 work colleagues. Worried needlessly that the staff would struggle to get everyone's food out together. Very polite superb service. One note worth mentioning. Men must wear trousers in evenings. Shorts are only allowed at lunchtimes. Shook the owners' hand and said in my best "Bogie", "nice joint ya got here, toots".

We loved this restaurant from the get go. There was a charming old world vibe in the beautifully and sympathetically restored building. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We were serenaded by the dulcet tones of the the piano player who of course recited "as time goes by", I really felt I was being transported back to the 1940's.... More

The building was so well restored in true tasteful morrocan fashion. The atmosphere was very pleasant with a gentle buzz and some lovely music, very relaxing. The food was good not stunning i had steak so a safe choice. I do not think it is a place i would go back to but i did enjoy my visit very much.

Went towards end of lunch for a drink. Dress code not strictly enforced. Had to sit at the end of the bar while staff in front counted the takings and talked loudly. Drinks way overpriced and not the best. Atmosphere grim. Décor did not remind me of the movie. This place is not at all what it says on the... More

We had a trip to Casablanca from Marrakech, after visiting the stunning Mosque we headed here for lunch, the service and surroundings were second to none. The best Bloody Mary my husband had ever had, a small but a good choice menu, beautifully presented great old fashioned service with a smile. We even had a tour of the upper floors,... More

Our desire to come here is cliché because of the movie. But it was worth it and a pleasant experience! I cannot comment on the food because we only came to enjoy cocktails. They had a great selection of scotch and cigars which we did enjoy I was slightly disappointed because I was hoping the inside of the restaurant would... More
