This quaint, french restaurant came well recommended by my host. The ambiance was subdued and artistic. As expected, the french cuisine was presented in style and the meal was pleasing to all senses. As a pure vegetarian, food is always a challenge for me during travel, and hence had 1 of the 2 veg items on the menu. - its... More

This restaurant is very near the centre of Casablanca but it's not easy to find. The restaurant is not trendy or cosy. The menu is good but the prices are too high. the service is not particularly good compared with other restaurants of the same level in Casablanca

We arrived at La Maison du Gourmet hoping for an excellent dining experience based upon the chef's training. The restaurant is small and very nice - understated elegance. The staff works hard and succeeds to please. They do not speak very much English, so being able to converse in French is helpful. They have a good and affordable Moroccan wine... More

Having been to Paul Bocuse's restaurant in Lyon when we read that both the husband and wife here had trained under him we were keen to visit. It was a lovely restaurant and the food was good however, since the wife is Moroccan we were expecting a bit more of a Moroccan influence on the menu but it was very... More

This is a lovely modern restaurant of a high end sort that could be found in any large city. The menu did not match that posted on their website. Prices are high for Morocco but not by western standards. Ex.: entrees (main courses) $25-30, tax included. Food was flavorful and subtle, with lovely presentation, but did not dazzle in any... More

This is one of the most refined foods in casablanca. Unfortunately it is way overpriced for what it is. Also the atmosphere is not particularly charming!

I went for a diner with both my parents, I had seen the head chef on many occasions in the medias and was very excited about her type of cuisine, moroccan flavors with french high end techniques. My starter was a little too rich, I had a hard time finishing it and I thought it could be half the size... More
