This is not a tourist restaurant. The bottom floor is filled with locals who are having tea and coffee. The top floor is where they serve the food and it is all authentic cuisine. I had the mixed grill which was delicious. My son had the chicken tangien and it was moist and flavorfu. The waiter was as friendly as... More

I had a chance to visit Le Riad for lunch today. The food was fantastic. The lunch salad buffer is very fresh, clean and best of all delicious. The owner was very quick to extend a warm welcome in otherwise perfect english. I had the beef Tajine and it was cooked to perfect. Did I mention that the prices were... More

It's our first day in the city and we came across this gem not 2 mins from our hotel. Take yourself upstairs to a tastefully decorated room and enjoy very reasonably priced food. The owner took time to chat to us about his vision for an affordable restaurant while we waited for the tagines to be prepared. Plenty of food... More

Just two blocks from our hotel we found this Moroccan gem. Very limited menu at this time but according to the manager better things are to come. They expect to open the upstairs area which the manager showed us (opening in April). The food was good and the staff was pleasant. Very reasonable cost.

I was looking for a low cost option to eat local food and the Riad was just right. They had not all the menu options available but the cous-cous was perfect, home made style. The place is old but service is friendly.

Le Riad Restaurant, in the new medina of Casablanca, has everything you might want in a Moroccan restaurant. We pretty much stumbled upon it our first night in Morocco, where we had harira soup, Moroccan salad, tagine of chicken with preserved lemon, and a vegetable couscous. Everything was excellent. The portions were so plentiful the two of us couldn't finish... More

One dish (eg cous cous, tajine), costs about 25-35 DHR and is sufficient for a meal. I consider the price very reasonable. The prices are exposed on the outside and you will not get cheated. The restaurant is under a new ownership and the owners still have to learn how to serve foreign customers, but they are very helpful and... More

The arabian decor of this place gives it a posh look, plus the food was nice. You should definitely try Pastilla au Poulet et amandes.
