My fiance and I visited Le Mauresque for an evening meal 2 days ago and all I can say is that it was fantastic. The service was everything it needed to be ecen down to complimentary drinks at the end. To start we had tomato and mozzerella and home made mixed spring rolls to start followed by two of the... We really enjoyed the Le Mauresque, great food, good service, lovely decor and a great guitarist who entertained us with songs ranging from Bob Marley to Pink Floyd

Me and my partner visited Le Mauresque last night during our visit to Agadir. The food was amazing! I had the range of home made brioutes to start which would of easily been enough for us to share. They were like Moroccan spring rolls, each with a different filling. My partner had tomatoes mozzarella with basil which again was plenty... More

This is lovely both inside and out, really nice authentic feel, beautiful food, huge huge portions, definitely share if you go! They need to put some more 'local' music on rather than English though!!

Read the Peter O'Toole review below first, really sums the place up. After a very disappointing meal in our hotel's "Moroccan" restaurant we had to find a better option. The setting at Le Mauresque was inviting and the service great, however it was very quiet due to Ramadan, so we had a good singalong to the Take That on the... More

We have eaten here each time we have visited Agadir- ten and counting- and it has never disappointed. The food is excellent, as are the characters who seem to use it as their office. We have never visited without a table somewhere nearby made up of obviously dissolute types, whispering over some deal, while accompanied by glamourous young women, who... More

I have a list of typical places I steer people to whenever they ask for advice regarding restaurants. For traditional Moroccan this is the place. I admit...on few occasions I HAVE had better tagines at very local, side-of-the-road places, however those ore very hit or miss. La Mauresque is geared towards the tourist and local alike, and always has the... More

Chose this restaurant after reading ta review and my wife wanting more traditional food. I downgraded the review purely because my wife's tagline contained only chicken with a few olives. No vegatables etc to accompany it. Maybe just a bad choice on our part. Decor was good - again traditional. Service satisfactory.

Moroccan food at its best as well as a very extensive international menu. Gorgeous restaurant with comfortable settees in the Moroccan style at certain tables around the sides as well as conventional chairs and tables in the centre. Wonderful service in a warm convivial atmosphere. For tagines and couscous dishes you must eat here - heaven on a plate. Put... More
