We have eaten here each time we have visited Agadir- ten and counting- and it has never disappointed. The food is excellent, as are the characters who seem to use it as their office. We have never visited without a table somewhere nearby made up of obviously dissolute types, whispering over some deal, while accompanied by glamourous young women, who... More

I have a list of typical places I steer people to whenever they ask for advice regarding restaurants. For traditional Moroccan this is the place. I admit...on few occasions I HAVE had better tagines at very local, side-of-the-road places, however those ore very hit or miss. La Mauresque is geared towards the tourist and local alike, and always has the... More

Chose this restaurant after reading ta review and my wife wanting more traditional food. I downgraded the review purely because my wife's tagline contained only chicken with a few olives. No vegatables etc to accompany it. Maybe just a bad choice on our part. Decor was good - again traditional. Service satisfactory.

Moroccan food at its best as well as a very extensive international menu. Gorgeous restaurant with comfortable settees in the Moroccan style at certain tables around the sides as well as conventional chairs and tables in the centre. Wonderful service in a warm convivial atmosphere. For tagines and couscous dishes you must eat here - heaven on a plate. Put... More

We stumbled across this place on an evening walk while looking for somewhere for a little drink as it was my husbands birthday. We couldn't resist poking our heads in because the place is so quirky and the decor wonderful. We were greeted at the door by a member of staff asking if we would like food or drinks. My... More

They do amazing food here, it is a little out of the main promonard but worth finding. The steak with two cheeses is fantastic, and ask for the chicken tagine with almonds- not on the menu but it is delicious!!!

This is a fabulous restaurant for food but the atmosphere is a bit lacking. The menu is extensive and includes many Moroccan dishes. We ate there several times and were never disappointed with the food.

No major expectations of this restaurant. Only really ate there because it looked nice. Wow, Mediterranean food cooked to perfection, fantastic attentive, not intrusive service. Top Value

Got this restaurant recommended by the hotel and ranked 15th on trip advisor in Agadir at the time. We first got seated in a corner with a table formed as a knee - not very social with the 9 on us, and after some argue we finally got a nice round table. Took some time to be noticed, but after... Despite all the reviews in here this restaurant was very poor on our visit. Starters came and the pastry was burnt on the outside while very raw in the middle. They did manage to make a tomato salad that was good though. The taglines arrived and WHAT a disappointment . My chicken one was burnt on the bottom with a... More
