Cool place!

Good place to stop for a quick lunch while you are at the park, boating, or one of the great concerts in the park. The tavern is great!

Nothing fancy about this deep fried food. No wait staff, order at counter. Good root beer. Good view of the lake from the patio. Onion rings were not great.

I expected an amazing hot dog. I got an OK dog. My wife's tavern was also OK. I did very much enjoy the fries though and the wait staff was friendly.

We eat at Bob's almost every time we visit the Lakes area. The food is outstanding and you can't beat the view. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Taverns, hot dogs, onion rings, fries...all fantastic. Order at the counter and then pick a seat and relax while enjoying the view of the lake, the boaters, the swimmers. Nothing fancy, just... Red casing hot dogs on a lake side setting, get them loaded or plain, just a great dog! They also feature "loose meat, sloppy joes" or whatever you prefer to call it. Just order up the "Bob Dog" and you'll be fine! Only downfall, might have to wait a bit.

Take the time to grab a couple Coney's while in the Arnolds Park Area. These are true old school dogs. They pop when you bite into them. The "chili" is different from anything you've had before. Try it...you like it!

stopped at Bobs for a quick lunch. We tried the hot dog, tavern (loose meat burger-like sloppy Joe minus the sauce), onion rings, fries and homemade rootbeer. All was excellent. reasonably priced and perfect sized servings. The SOB (son of Bob) was very friendly. We ended up stopping back for dessert a little later. Recommend for a quick snack with... Although the food was good, it was a little expensive for the amount. But.....You pay for the pretty location and convenience of being near Arnold's park and the emporium. And it wasn't any more expensive than the other places that have to survive on income made during the 3 month tourist season. Kids loved the chicken fingers and cheese balls.
