BEST CONEY DOG'S EVER!

Take the time to grab a couple Coney's while in the Arnolds Park Area. These are true old school dogs. They pop when you bite into them. The "chili" is different from anything you've had before. Try it...you like it!

stopped at Bobs for a quick lunch. We tried the hot dog, tavern (loose meat burger-like sloppy Joe minus the sauce), onion rings, fries and homemade rootbeer. All was excellent. reasonably priced and perfect sized servings. The SOB (son of Bob) was very friendly. We ended up stopping back for dessert a little later. Recommend for a quick snack with... Although the food was good, it was a little expensive for the amount. But.....You pay for the pretty location and convenience of being near Arnold's park and the emporium. And it wasn't any more expensive than the other places that have to survive on income made during the 3 month tourist season. Kids loved the chicken fingers and cheese balls.

The loose meats are awesome and the shakes were great! Love the view and being able to sit outside by the lake and not pay thru the nose for it ;)

The Bob dog is a must. Their fries and onion rings are fantastic. Shakes are delicious. Can't wait to get home to get my Bobs fix!

Ever had a Bob's Hot Dog? If not you are in for a great treat! Then there are the Tavern's (loose meat sandwich). Hard to pick sometimes.

Just wanted a quick hot dog. Must have waited 30 minutes for 2 hot dogs and french fries. Young man who brought out the orders had a nasty attitude and slammed everyone's tray down on the table. Place is joke!

If you're looking for a hot dot or tavern at a reasonable price then Bob's is the place to go. Great location overlooking West Lake Okoboji with outdoor seating and a meal for less than $5, what's not to like?

Their hot dogs are amazing and the taverns are great to try also. Living in Des Moines, I make sure i stop by Bob's everytime I'm in Okoboji. Service can be slow when it is busy but it is worth the wait.
