Nice Roof Deck

Went to eat there due to its rooftop patio. The drinks for your average bar drinks and the food was good. Had chips and salsa and Mahi Mahi Tacos. Service wasn't the best but the waitress and bartender really had too many customers to do their jobs sufficiently.

I really love the atmosphere of the new location and the wait staff was pleasant. The food was ok. The portion size was a bit small. It recently opened so I will give it another try and hope for better.

What is there to say? It took them over a half an hour to bring out our food and was not worth waiting for. I had the Mahi Mahi Tacos. They were not the warmest and the red cabbage coleslaw topping was the worst I have had. My wife had the salmon salad and the salmon had almost no seasoning... More

We ate at the old location several times a month. I have been to the new location 4 times and once for lunch. The common theme is that we miss the old location/vibe. This would be a fun place for cocktails outside if you have a deep wallet. It is less appealing / comfortable with a family. I like the... More

We'd never been to the other Wallaby's in town, so had nothing to compare it with. The atmosphere was pleasant, and though we went while it was busy, our wait was only about 10 minutes. The server was very helpful in explaining menu items and in making suggestions when asked. The white cheddar nuggets were tasty, and I really enjoyed... More

I LOVE the new location..a quiet table in the back is best. The food was even better than the old location. Service was really good. TRY the tenderloin and either the salad with white wine vinegarette or the tomato vinegarette...WONDERFUL!

Very modern restaurant and bar in a new building and new location with a sports theme centered on the Iowa State Cyclones. I visited it on a Saturday eve and there were families with young kids as well as couples in their later years. The menu may not be huge but there are plenty of good items to choose from.... More

We loved the new Wallaby's in Somerset. The decor and atmosphere is great and they have the same great food. We were seated in a room with two tables, two booths and a fireplace which made for a very relaxing atmosphere. Looking forward to the roof top patio bar this summer.

Well-done on the new location decor and the space, although the parking situation is terrible. Service for lunch was too slow for it being the official lunch hour. Unfortunately, what used to be a solid place in the old location is terrible at present. My wife had a side-salad with four whole pieces of uncut lettuce and few extra garnish.... More

I've been to the new Wallaby's a few times already. Everything on the "Creole" menu is great, but the shrimp-and-grits left me still hungry, which was disappointing at $14 (one of the highest-priced menu items). I think that the portions are generally small for the price, but I know the ingredients, sauces and whatnot are always made fresh and they... More
