A little Irish Pub

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Enjoy the Irish items on the menu along with American favorites. A lot of fun on St Patrick's Day but it is VERY crowded, not the best time to try it. The patio is nice in the summer time too.

I love the warm and filling comfort food on a cold day. The potato soup is marvelous and so is the shepards pie. Great service and cozy atmosphere.

The shrimp with the mushroom sauce was outstanding. Nice atmosphere and wonderful service. Quite room with lots of hidden areas. Will definitely go back!

We stopped in one Sunday for lunch after meeting our college kids for church. What a fun place! Service was quick considering we all ordered something different: Shepard's Pie, Flaherty's Fish & Chips, Salmon Club, Burger and Dublin Club. No complaints on the order.....evident by clean plates. Oh and we did have to try the bread pudding (huge serving!!) and... More

Had my husbands birthday dinner here. We got a nice table tucked away in a corner and had a great time. The prices were average for an mid-to-upscale restaurant, but the food was above average. The fact that it is very clean lends a bit of a corporatized feel, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing. The same with... More

food, drinks, service, and atmosphere all top notch. Old school Irish pub, very authentic Irish car bombs are recommended

Had a nice time on the patio. We only had appetizers, the spinach dip was great but prefer pita chips, the garlic chip were a little over powering. Onion rings best in town. And drinks were perfect. Great wait staff and on top of keeping track of everyone in our party, which could not of been easy.

This place is very nicely decorated and my server was friendly. Dining area was very dark. The Marcydiner tantrum scale of 3/5-no screaming kids, but you can't hear the waitress, due to conversational noises. Theres a wait to get in and the parking lot is packed. I sat at the bar and ordered to go. Here's why they get the... More

Great food! Highly recommend the beef boxty and the shepherd's pie. They also have a nice patio. Overall one of my favorite places in Ames!

The atmosphere was ok. The food was Irish- American, not full Irish. Missing a lot of important spices and herbs they use in tradition Irish food, but overall the food was good. However, the prices were pretty high for what we got.
